Her health concerns are no strangers to her fans. Her previous health issues have prevented her from returning to "The Wendy Williams Show," which led to a series of guest hosts taking over the show. Wendy did not even return for the final episode, which was instead hosted by Sherri Shepherd.

Sherri became such a fan favorite that it was later announced that the 54-year-old TV personality would be given her own show, "Sherri," to replace "The Wendy Williams Show" after more than a decade on air.

In February, Wendy Williams tested positive for a breakthrough case of COVID-19 and experienced other complications to her health from Graves' disease.

At the time, her rep, Howard Bragman, released a statement saying that Wendy "understands why this decision was made from a business point of view," adding, "She has been assured by Debmar-Mercury that should her health get to a point where she can host again and should her desire be that she hosts again that she would be back on TV at that time."

One source dished that her addiction has "gotten worse," adding, "She went from wine to straight-up vodka."

At this time, it is unknown where Wendy is getting treatment, although she has previously sought help from wellness facilities in Long Island City and Florida.

The source claimed that her health and addiction have only gotten worse since her production company allegedly "refused" to get her help, with the insider alleging that "they turned their backs on her."

The source also claimed that "They had too much control over someone so vulnerable."
