Is Paramore about to release some new music? Fans are desperately hoping they will!

After starting off with “All We Know Is Falling” in 2005, the band hit fame after releasing 2007’s “Riot.” From there, they’ve released 2009’s “Brand New Eyes,” 2013’s self-titled album, and 2017’s “After Laughter.”

Frontwoman Hayley Williams had her own side projects during the COVID-19 pandemic, “Petals for Armor” in 2020 and “Flowers for Vases / Descansos” in 2021, as she dealt with the grief from her divorce.

However, the band has been back in the studio working on some new music and they finally released a snippet of it for their fans.

As reported by Kerrang, Paramore is working hard to generate excitement for their new album after launching a Discord and teasing a clip of a new song.

The 11-second video clip above is another music clip that was released earlier in the month. Judging by the similar sound, it's possible that these are snippets of the same song.

Even still, it was enough to get fans excited, especially considering that it looks like there are only a few days to go until the big announcement that they have planned on September 19.

On their website, Paramore laid out a calendar of what fans can expect from them coming up, and it looks like big things are coming on September 19. On September 1, they launched the discord servers.

On September 7 and September 9, the days are labeled "blank" and "wr0ng," which might be a nod to two songs. On September 12, the LA hints at the day they announced on Instagram that they would be playing two shows in October 2022.

On Twitter, they announced that they were going to support the charity "Support and Feed," which is a charity that “takes action for a global shift to an equitable, plant-based food system to combat food insecurity and the climate crisis.”

On September 19, it says "start spreading the news," which is leading many fans to speculate about a big announcement coming. However, it should be noted that September 16 and September 28 are both marked off on the calendar, but both dates are blank. It's unclear what Paramore has planned for these dates, but fans will just have to stay tuned!

In January, Hayley Williams revealed that she, Taylor York, and Zac Farro were back in the studio in an interview with Rolling Stone.

"We wrote and tracked something we loved and it actually surprised us," Hayley explained. "We kept joking it was all downhill from that point, but thank God we’ve been surprised a lot throughout this whole thing."

"I’m always waiting for the moment for us to know we’re onto something new and we’re not just rehashing the same s---," she continued. "It was 'Ain’t It Fun' for our self-titled record, and 'Hard Times' or 'Told You So' for After Laughter."

"It’s not about it feeling like a hit so much as it’s a scary, exciting feeling that you’re treading uncharted waters," she added. "It keeps you curious. We got to feel that feeling early on this time.”

She also teased that some of the music might be more reflective of their earlier work. "Our output has always been all over the place and with this project, it’s not that different," she explained. "We’re still in the thick of it but some things have remained consistent from the start."
