Singer Michelle Branch and her husband, Patrick Carney, have decided to make amends after a quick separation.

In new court documents obtained by The Blast, the "Everywhere" singer and the Black Keys drummer submitted an "Agreed Order - Submitted of Reconciliation," meaning that the two are going to work out their differences rather than divorce.

As The Blast previously reported, the 39-year-old singer-songwriter had filed for divorce in Tennessee almost a month ago citing irreconcilable differences after she accused the 42-year-old musician of cheating other her. After an argument about the alleged infidelity, Branch was arrested for domestic assault after allegedly slapping her husband.

She was originally due to Tennessee Court at the beginning of November to address the charges, but fortunately for her and her fans, the case has been thrown out. The couple shares two young children, Rhys James Carney and Willie Jacquet Carney, which might have played a major factor in their reconciliation, as she requested that Carney pay for child support and give her custody of the children.

In the original divorce filing, Branch wrote that she and Carney "are no longer capable of resuming their marital relationship and living together as husband and wife."  However, it looks like the two have gotten back together and are working to resolve their differences.

Branch was married once before, to bassist Teddy Landeau, 58, from 2004 to 2015, before she married Carney in 2019.

It's a bad time for Michelle Branch's personal life to interfere with her busy career, as the "All You Wanted" singer has been busy promoting her upcoming LP “The Trouble With Fever.”

Earlier this month, Branch told her followers over Instagram that she was going to have to postpone her national tour date, although her two sold-out shows in Los Angeles will proceed as scheduled. “I’m so sorry, Nashville! We have to delay our tour stop,” she wrote. “Please hang tight about a rescheduled date soon!”

In a recent interview with Billboard (via Us Weekly), the "Breathe" singer revealed that it's been a struggle keeping her professional commitments while feeling "totally devastated" with her personal life.

“I think if I didn’t have this album coming out, I would probably be in bed crying all day," she told the outlet, revealing that she turned to her friend, "Can't Help Falling In Love" singer Kacey Musgraves, for support. Musgraves had also endured a public break-up and divorce and channeled many of her personal feelings into her music.

“I called her right as this was happening, and I was like, f--- Kacey, what should I do?" Branch recalled. "She was like, ‘I don’t know about you, but I do better when I’m busy. And I was like, ‘Oh my god, you’re so right. Like, I just need to focus on my work and go on tour. I have young kids, I don’t have the luxury of sitting around and wallowing, really.”

With Branch's album coming out at the end of this week, on September 17, fans are looking forward to hearing some of her new music, especially a new song called "Not My Lover" that some fans speculate is about the alleged infidelity, judging by lyrics that the "Leave The Pieces" singer has already shared on Instagram.

There has been a lot of speculation that her new song, “Not My Lover,” is a diss track about her husband. In one Instagram post teasing the song shared on August 22, a blue screen reads, “Love wasn’t the case so say it to my face. Say it to my face.”

A second Instagram post shows Branch lying on an old TV with a microphone in her hand. The caption reads, “When you said you didn’t love her, you were just a liar.”

Fans were quick to show their support, with one fan commenting that the lyrics had “Are you happy now?” vibes. Another follower wrote, “We love you, Michelle!!! Stay strong. Cannot wait for more music.” A third fan chimed in, “You look like a princess! Can’t wait to hear this! Love ya! Always here to support you.”
