Kensington Palace has just announced that the Duke and and Duchess of Cambridge will be visiting Ireland from March 3 to 5.

The statement from the palace said the couple will visit Dublin, County Meath, County Kildare, and Galway to "highlight the many strong links between the UK and Ireland."

Interestingly enough, this will overlap with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's visit to the U.K. in which they will both carry out their last engagements before making their official transition out of their royal positions on April 1.

Prince Harry will be attending a recording session with Bon Jovi on February 28, and Meghan will be going to an event to support International Women's Day on March 8.

Despite the separate appearances, both couples will be attending the annual service at Westminster Abbey for Commonwealth Day on March 9.

This will be the first time the former "fab four" will be seen together publicly since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced they would be stepping back as senior royals.

Kensington Palace says they're hoping the trip will emphasize the links the U.K. and Ireland have after Brexit.

It will be interesting to see what happens with the various diary clashes that are sure to take place that week, as the couples are always seemingly in competition for the spotlight.

For every engagement that Kate Middleton has, by "coincidence" a new Instagram picture will go up on Sussexroyal , pushing Kate off the front page.

Will Harry and Meghan keep Kate and William from making front page news on their Ireland tour? Probably, being that drama seems to follow them everywhere, whether they're in Canada or the U.K.

In just twelve weeks the Invictus Games will take place in The Hague, Netherlands. It's been reported that Meghan will take center stage, with a royal source telling The Sun, "Harry and Meghan will be at the front of the center of the Games. Meghan knows how important it is to Harry and will be at his side."

Unfortunately, however, it's unlikely that other members of the royal family will be attending the games. Some family drama behind the scenes perhaps?

Of course, sources on the inside have been quick to try to downplay any drama surrounding the apparent "snub."

A source tells The Sun, "William had not been expected to attend even before the news broke about Harry and Meghan’s decision to step away from public life."

They continued, "So it is highly unlikely that he and Kate will be a part of the event in any way. But it isn't a snub. The entire Royal Family remain hugely supportive and very proud of Harry’s work on Invictus and think it is a wonderful event."

Sure, we definitely believe that.
