Howard Stern seems to have had enough!
The popular radio personality is known for being outspoken and sharing his opinions, whether they are considered controversial or not. His stance often rubs his guests and the people he talks about wrongly, but he does not seem to care as he is once again sticking to sharing his opinion regardless — this time, he wants the late Queen out of America’s media.
Howard Stern Slams US Media: “Enough With The Queen.”
The author seems to have had enough back-to-back coverage of Queen Elizabeth II’s death. According to Page Six, he went on a rant during a segment of his show, “The Howard Stern Show.” In the process of slamming the US media, he told his co-host Robin Quivers that in America, there’s no queen, so he doesn’t get why the media seems obsessed with covering the death unabated since she died.
“Jesus, enough with the Queen!” he burst out. He continued by saying he gets why the media would want to make a big deal out of her death, seeing as she was a lovely lady. And that while he admires her for sticking diligently to her duty for so many years, he believes that they have to get back to covering former US president Donald Trump and finding out “where those papers are that they found at Mar-A-Lago.”
While the radio star seems to think the intense coverage was unnecessary, it did not stop world leaders from rushing to commemorate the Royal Family. The Blast previously reported that when the Royal Family released a statement of the Queen’s passing, it did not take long to receive a response from the world.
As expected, world leaders took to social media to remember the late Monarch for her strength and admirable character. On Twitter, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau released a statement acknowledging her lengthy reign, during which she displayed wisdom, compassion, and warmth. The message partly read:
“She was a constant presence in our lives and her service to Canadians will forever remain an important part of our country’s history.”
French President Emmanuel Macron remembered her as a “friend of France” who was very kind and an embodiment of a great legacy. Despite the unrest in Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy took time to commemorate the Royal Family on behalf of his people via Twitter.
As a member of the Commonwealth, he extended his sincere condolences, thoughts, and prayers to the Royal Family. Not to be left behind, the past and current presidents of the United States also released statements on social media. Former President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle Obama, tweeted that they were grateful to have been witnesses to the late Sovereigns “dedicated leadership.”
While George W. Bush attributed the bright future of the United Kingdom to the late Queen’s service and steady resolve, President Joe Biden and his wife, Jill Biden, mourned the loss in an even more lengthy statement. “Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was more than a Monarch. She defined an era,” the message began.
It continued by praising her exemplary efforts to her Kingdom and admiration of her ability to unite several countries into the Commonwealth. Adding that with the support of her late husband, Prince Phillip, she became the very first “British monarch to whom people all around the world could feel a personal and immediate connection.”
“The Howard Stern Show” Host Leaks Marvel Character Secret
The 68-year-old is blowing the minds of fans away with this reveal. In June, The Blast reported that in what seemed to be an audio malfunction, Stern revealed that he would be playing Dr. Doom, a Marvel character.
This fascinating information leaked when the “Shock Jock” host chatted with the long-time producer of the show, Gary Dell’Abate, and co-host Robin Quivers while commercials were playing. The audio revealed that Howard seemed scared of the role because of the pressure behind it. He admitted that he had already gotten in touch with veteran thespian Robert Downey Jr for some acting tips.
The radio host was heard saying, “But believe me, I’m f***ing miserable about it,” and asking Dell’Abate for the number of Marvel producer Jon Favreau. It seems like this is just a case of jitters for the star as he recalled that he is usually this way before an ample opportunity, referencing how he felt as a judge on “America’s Got Talent.”
