"Hunger Games" star Jennifer Lawrence described the recent "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" season as "boring" and reality star Erika Jayne as "evil." The actress is a self-proclaimed super fan of the Bravo series and was not shy about discussing the show's season 12.
Jayne has been in several controversies, both legally and with fellow housemates, over the past few months. The 51-year-old was notably sued alongside her estranged husband, Tom Girardi, for embezzling funds meant for a number of bereaved families.
In a recent interview, the actress revealed that she thought the current season was "boring" and didn't have the best opinions about Jayne, who she described as "evil" and needed the help of a publicist.

Jennifer Lawrence Thinks New 'RHOBH' Season Is 'Boring'
In addition to her role as an extremely talented actress, Lawrence also doubles as a binge-watching "Housewives" fan. The star was at the Toronto International Film Festival along with her "Castaway" cast and told Variety about what she thought of the recent season as well as her views on the stars.
Lawrence has, on several occasions, talked about how much she loved the franchise and once joined Andy Cohen on "Watch What Happens Live." In her recent interview, the 32-year-old was joined by her co-star Brian Tyree Henry who was also a Bravo fan but was more hesitant because he did not want "Erika coming for [him]."
According to the Oscar winner, the show's newest season was "boring"; however, she had every intention of finishing it. "Not a great season, but I'll finish it. Brian [Tyree Henry] and I have quite Dubai, and we're done with Dubai," the 32-year-old said. "My biggest problem with this season [is] that it's just been boring."
She Called Erika Jayne 'Evil'
Further on in the Variety interview, Lawrence focused on one housewife, in particular, calling the reality star "evil." "And I think that Erika is evil. I would go as far as to say she needs a publicist ASAP," the actress said. She revealed that the housewives' co-stars tried to advise her concerning her image, but their words fell on deaf ears.
"Lisa Rinna tried to look out for her and tried to like — she didn't do the Dorinda thing," Lawrence said. "Remember when they were in Colombia and Dorinda's [wearing], like, f–king Joker makeup and Carole Radziwill was just talking to her and leaving her out there — oh no, I'm not talking about this." The star seemed to restrain herself from saying any more.
Jayne has been in several controversies for a while, starting from her attempt to divorce her husband, Tom Girardi, and the several lawsuits against the couple. Jayne was also recently involved in a disagreement with fellow housewives Garcelle Beauvais and Crystal Kung Minkoff. The duo reportedly asked that she sell off her $1.3 million earrings to pay off the victims of her husband's alleged embezzling case.
Erika Jayne And Tom Girardi Were Sued
In November 2020, Jayne reportedly filed for divorce from her attorney husband, Girardi, after being together for 21 years. A month after the news broke out, the 83-year-old and Jayne were sued by the families of the victims of the Lion Air Flight 610. According to the suit, the former attorney had embezzled around $2 million of what was to be the settlement funds for the family.
Via Us Weekly, the lawsuit against Jayne was issued by Edelson PC, a class action organization that accused the reality star of using the divorce as a "sham attempt to fraudulently protect" the assets of the couple. The suit also claimed that at the time, the couple was a hair's breadth away from financial ruin.
Despite the claims, the 51-year-old claimed her innocence, and in January 2022, an Illinois court deemed it so. The court documents read, "Pursuant to stipulation, plaintiff's claims against defendants EJ Global LLC and Erika Girardi are dismissed without prejudice and without costs."
Erika Jayne Flirted With Garcelle Beauvais’ Son
Jayne's recent actions outside the courtroom are likely what made several Bravo fans, Lawrence in addition, uneasy. In an episode that aired in July, the housewife joined Beauvais' birthday party and reportedly said harsh words to her co-star's 13-year-old son and proceeded to flirt with her 31-year-old son, Oliver.
Before the episode aired, the reality star told US Weekly that she had mixed antidepressants with alcohol while filming most of the show's season. "Well, look, I've been very open and honest," Jayne said. "I mixed alcohol and antidepressants, which I didn't know that it would make you this drunk, and it did."
The Bravo star continued, "I do not have a problem and lesson learned, and we go on. I mean, are you gonna see a moment that, you know, you will probably be like, 'Is that Erika?' And the answer is yeah. I mean, that was me." The 51-year-old claimed she had a tough time then and had moments she "didn't wanna get out of bed — more than moments; there were days."
