Jordyn Woods has quietly edited the caption to her most recent Instagram update following immense backlash. The 22-year-old model's weekend post mentioned recently-deceased rapper Pop Smoke – the "Welcome to the Party" rapper was just 20 when he was shot in his multi-million dollar rental home on February 19.

Jordyn's original caption appeared to be paying homage to Pop Smoke, but fans dubbing the update inappropriate have seen the former best friend to Kylie Jenner swiftly change her caption. Check out the now-deleted words below.

Jordyn's photos showed her in a somewhat gritty setting and posing in a parking lot by Slauson Super Mall in L.A. The SECNDNTURE founder was seen looking into the distance in her first photo – a quick swipe to the right showed her waving.

Jordyn was contrasting the mall setting via some high end looks, though. The brunette wore olive green sweatpants with a long-sleeved and cropped cream top, also rocking a matching jacket. A pricey quilted Chanel bag was also visible.

"When Someone Drives By Playing The Pop Smoke RIP," she had written.

The caption to Jordyn's post is now a black-heart emoji.

A quick look through the comments section to Jordyn's post now shows two kinds of replies. Some had clearly spotted the original caption, while others appeared to have landed on the post after it was deleted.

The early replies are still there, though.

"Delete this dumb sh*t because you not even standing right and it's not the right way to express condolences," a fan had written.

"The caption doesn't correlate sis. Delete it," another said.

Meanwhile, over on Twitter, screenshots of the original caption were met with likewise unimpressed words.

"Is she serious?" one fan tweeted.

A handful of users seemed to have spotted Jordyn having deleted her caption.

"Yikes. Quick switch," one wrote.

Meanwhile, others dragged the model out for being at the Super Mall.

"Bet you went to slauson for a pic and left," one wrote, with another saying: "Since when do you shop at the Slauson?"

"You went to Slauson just for a pic????" one asked.

Elsewhere, amid those having seen the caption, some felt that the photo and words had a disconnect.

"This caption and photo don't even make sense" was one such user.

Pop Smoke's girlfriend Yummy has been vocal on social media. Following the rapper's death –now confirmed to have been caused by a gunshot wound to the torso – Yummy wrote:

"The more I get to thinking, I realize I tend to have a cold heart but, you melted mine so quickly. We taught each other self-awareness. He was rare. Never once did he try to change me. He was so resilient. Nothing could bend or break him. He made sense out of everything and if he didn’t understand, he would ask you questions, lots of em. He never ceased to amaze me with his honesty, I knew everything, I mean."
