Fans have been obsessed with whether or not award-winning actress Jennifer Aniston will have children or not. Few other celebrities have faced the constant reproductive scrutiny that Aniston has. Jennifer is so much more than her choice to parent or not but the issue seems to be too fascinating to resist. For a time Jennifer was married to actor Brad Pitt. Hollywood tabloids and fans both adored the power couple. They were frequently the subject of rumors and speculation. When the pair eventually decided to split many speculated that it was over potential children. Fans suspected that Aniston didn't want to have children with her famous husband. Jennifer dismissed these rumors as ridiculous and said that she had always wanted children and would have loved to have them with Brad Pitt.

In a recent interview with close, longtime friend Sandra Bullock Aniston went on to talk about what she sees in her future. The actress said she imagines snapshots of a happy life including the sound of the ocean. Hearing ice tinkling in a glass and the laughter of children. This comment reignited interest in the actress' future plans for motherhood. At 51 Jennifer is still young and healthy enough to tackle the challenge. She wouldn't be the oldest woman to have children.

Could Jennifer's comments in this interview mean that she's ready to start her family? The star has made comments that she's always wanted children and also said that reproduction isn't her only purpose in life. The future she imagined for herself sounds happy and prosperous. She didn't specifically say that the children in her fantasy were hers. She may have simply meant spending more time with family. You don't have to be a parent to be an important person in a child's life.

At 51 the actress could be at the peak time to start her family. She has a successful career and more than enough resources to take care of a child. Women over 50 know who they are and have the confidence to lead a family. Many women can carry a healthy pregnancy over 50. There is also the option to adopt and there are many children in need of a wonderful person like Jennifer to change their lives. Either way, the actress is a phenomenal success and great role model.
