Kaley Cuoco struggled to find words on Friday as she discovered that Jennifer Aniston follows her on Instagram. The “Big Bang Theory” actress and “Friends” alum may both be household names on account of their sitcom icon status, but for 34-year-old Kaley, there’s definitely a hierarchy – she ranks Jennifer as her “favorite human in the world.”
Kaley was prepping for her own “The Flight Attendant” TV show when she filmed the discovery video – suffice to say that while the blonde did eventually find words, they took a while coming.
The video showed Kaley behind-the-scenes and in prep for filming. The star was seated wearing a giant black puffer jacket, plus red rollers in her hair.
“I’m about to go shoot,” she told fans, then admitting that she was scrolling Instagram.
“I went onto my favorite human in the world’s page, Jennifer Aniston, just to see what’s up, and guys…she follows me!” Kaley said.
“So, uh, she’s literally my favorite. Like, FAVORITE,” Kaley added, also stating that she didn’t think her Friday could get any better.
While Kaley managed to deliver those words, they were preceded by some long silences.
“So…um,” she was heard saying.
There was a long nod of appreciation and disbelief from Cuoco before she spoke.
“Like…ah…” she said before uttering the word “favorite.”
Text in Kaley’s stories also suggested that 51-year-old Jennifer actually following her was the ultimate life goal.
“Should I just go home?” Kaley wrote, also writing: “life made,” plus: “Like, I’ve peaked.”
A look of sheer glee was then seen from the girl behind Penny.
Friday night brought major news for “Friends” fans as Jennifer Aniston and her former NBC co-stars finally confirmed that a reunion of the 1994-2004 series is happening. After months of speculation, fans were delighted as “The Morning Show” actress posted a throwback photo of the “Friends” cast with a very short (but very positive) caption.
“It’s happening,” Jen wrote.
The HBO Max reunion will stream later this year, with Variety reporting that each cast member is set to earn $2.25 million for their return.
The “Friends” cast made sitcom history in later seasons of the show for being the first to earn $1 million per episode. The staggering paycheck wasn’t seen again until Kaley and her “Big Bang” co-stars did the same, although they did eventually accept lower pay of $900,000 per episode to allow other cast members (such as Mayim Bialik) to take a raise.
Jennifer joined Instagram in October 2019, earning herself a Guinness World Record for being the fastest ever account to reach 1 million followers. Co-star Matthew Perry was the final cast member to join, signing up earlier this month.
