Lizzo Shares The Cute Nickname Her Boyfriend Myke Wright Gave Her!

Singer and dancer Lizzois in love and extremely happy! The “Truth hurts” singer recently spilled about her boyfriend, Myke Wright, during an interview. She also revealed the “cute” nickname he gave to her. The couple first sparked rumors that they were dating after being seen out for dinner.
Lizzo had earlier confirmed that she was in a relationship during an April interview with Andy Cohen. In a Variety interview in February, Lizzo also revealed that she was a little bit in love and would challenge and channel those feelings in her upcoming album. She also confirmed that the album is a “love album.”
The singer recently spoke about her sizzling Tyson Beckford feature in the music video for her song, “2 Be Loved” off her hot new album, "Special." She also opened up about her upcoming music tour with rapper Latto.

Lizzo Revealed The Cute Nickname
During her September 7th interview with Audacy Check In, Lizzo gushed about her beau and revealed the “cute” nickname Wright gave her. She said, “Well, I am in love. He has own name for me. He calls me Melly.” The “About Damn Time” singer revealed that things between her and Wright are getting more serious.
Lizzo, whose real name is Melissa Viviane Jefferson, also admitted that Wright is the first guy to call her Melly and said that he’s a “creative.” She and Wright, who’s an actor and comedian, have been spotted out on dates severally in Los Angeles this year.
She Confirmed Their Relationship In April
In April, Lizzo had an interview with Andy Cohen on SiriusXM Radio Andy and finally confirmed that she was in a relationship. Her confirmation was due to the many rumors that had sprung up after she was seen with a mystery man at a restaurant in West Hollywood.
During the interview, the “Good as Hell” singer also shared that her fame and career had not affected her relationship. Lizzo and Wright eventually debuted as a couple at the FYC event for the singer’s Amazon Prime video series, “Watch Out for the Big Grrrls.” They’ve been seen out severally on dates and even on Valentine’s Day.
She’s Channeling Her Feelings In Her Next Album

Lizzo had hinted at her romantic feelings in a Varietyinterview in February, during which she teased that she’d be challenging and channeling those feelings in her next album. She explained that most of her songs are autobiographical and confirmed that the album will be “a love album.”
When asked if the album is about falling in love, the “Cuz I love you” singer said, “Ooooh. You’re going to have to wait and see.” The interviewer then insisted and changed the question to “Are you currently in love?” and “Are you dating someone right now?”
In response, Lizzo said, “Ooooh. We got to go! I’m just going to say — a little bit. I ain’t talking about this… We’re talking about “Big Grrrls” and how we’re changing the world, goddamnit.”
Her show, "Watch Out For The Big Grrrls" took home two Emmy awards, for Outstanding Directing and Outstanding Picture Editing for a structured reality or competition program.

During the Audacy interview, Lizzo also spoke about several other topics. She opened up about getting Tyson Beckford to feature in the music video for “2 Be Loved” and about her upcoming music tour with rapper Latto.
She said, “Tyson Beckford is the male supermodel of the world. He’s been in so many iconic music videos as the leading man. I felt like I wanted to have an iconic moment. To have him say yes was a big deal. I don’t think there was anyone else that could play the part.”
Regarding the upcoming tour, Lizzo said she wanted to remind fans to wear “comfortable shoes” and “breathable clothing” because there would be a lot of dancing all night long.
