Kloots Tries To Find A Work/Life Balance

A few weeks ago, Kloots, 40, shared that it gets "harder and harder" to leave her son for work and how tough the work/life balance can be. "Saying goodbye to this little guy just keeps getting harder and harder. We were both in tears today, holding each other tight, doing our handshake, hugging and kissing over and over. This is new…these types of goodbyes. He understands now when I have to leave him," she said in the post. "The work/life balance as a working mother is so hard. I love work and I love my son. It’s an emotional rollercoaster that I don’t think you can fully understand until you do." She also thanked her "village" in the post. "I’m so lucky to have a village of incredible people that help me on a daily basis. I couldn’t do anything without you. You know who you are and I’m eternally grateful."

Remembering Her Late Husband

Earlier this year before the second anniversary of her husband's death, Kloots talked to E! News about taking time to remember her late love. "I made it a goal of mine last year to be away on this day," she said. "To be by water, which is always a safe haven and therapy for me." Cordero was 41 when he died from COVID complications in July 2020. Kloots shared that she couldn't get out of bed on the first anniversary of his death. "You just never know what a day is going to bring. You could wake up and be completely OK," she explained. "And then you could wakeup and it hit you like a ton of bricks." Moving forward, Kloots has hope that her and her son can "celebrate instead of being sad."
