Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber Are Worried About Son Presley, Here's Why

It's been a perplexing few weeks for the Gerber family. Upon Presley Gerber's unveiling of his new tattoo -- one that reads "misunderstood" across his face -- the family is becoming increasingly concerned about his mental health. Of course, Presley's new ink drew plenty of criticism from outsiders, but apparently the Gerbers have deeper concerns for his well-being. And, unfortunately for the famous family, Presley's new tattoo is only one of many things that are causing concern, which is why they're "pushing" for him to get help.

On February 7th, Presley posted a video and image of his new tattoo on Instagram. The tattoo immediately sparked quite a bit of backlash, with people criticizing the young model for getting a face tattoo so young and "ruining" his face. Apparently, Presley's followers aren't the only ones who have concerns about the tattoo, either. "Cindy and Rande are definitely concerned about their son. They truly want to make sure he is okay," and insider explained to E! News via sheknows.

Of course, Presley himself made it very clear that he has no regrets about the tattoo, and that he does not appreciate the criticism he's been getting for it. "If I thought this was going to ruin my face or I didn’t want this, I wouldn’t have done it. I think that’s a pretty obvious thing," Presley said in an Instagram live video. He then told anyone who criticized him or his family that they should come "say it to [his] face."

The tattoo isn't the only cause of concern for the Gerber family. In early 2019, Presley was arrested for a DUI and has been dealing with the repercussions of it. While his family has been trying to support him through it, his parents are now especially inclined to get him help. Apparently, Cindy and Rande have "been trying to get Presley help since his DUI last year." However, Presley seems to only be getting more angry by the reports that he is struggling or by criticism for his life.

Meanwhile, Presley's supermodel sister Kaia Gerber has also been trying to help out her brother, and according to sheknows, Kaia has really "taken him under her wing." Nevertheless, things are allegedly still very tense in the household, as the family is pushing harder than ever to get Presley the help that he needs. As for Presley's perspective, he posted a video of himself at a shooting range with a caption reading "innocent little me before all the horrid tattoos." We're certainly wishing the best for Presley and his entire family as they figure out what their next steps are!
