Did Emma Roberts Cause This Actor To Leave His Longterm Girlfriend?

Emma Roberts, niece of award-winning actress Julia Roberts, can't seem to escape the media's scrutiny when it comes to her love life.

She made a jump from the big screen to popular television series American Horror Story, where she has spent most of her time in acting recently.

She has been the headline on a media outlet more often than not, but one specific rumor seems to not only be true, but may be what broke up two of Hollywood's loved stars.

In October 2017, we reported that Emma Roberts had been caught having an 'inappropriate relationship' with actor Hayden Christensen, most known for his portrayal of Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader in several Star Wars films.

Christensen had been dating actress Rachel Bilson since 2007 when they first met, and they split in the end of 2017. An insider reported to The Blast that this was due to his relationship that was brewing with Emma Roberts, his costar in the movie Little Italy.

Christensen isn't the only one in the story with a high profile relationship, in fact, Roberts has found her way on headlines alongside her ex-beau Evan Peterson many times.

During the romance with Christensen, Roberts was also in an on-again-off-again relationship with Evan Peters.

The two met in 2012 and were known for working in American Horror Story together. They reportedly got engaged in 2014, but it never happened, and instead split amicably in 2019. "It wasn't a bad breakup, they are still friends," an insider said.

Roberts wasn't only in the headlines for her love triangles, but also for past run in's with the law.

In 2013, Roberts was originally arrested for domestic violence, against none other than her boyfriend at the time, Evan Peters, after a heated argument turned violent. He received a broken nose, and she was detained on suspicion, but Peters didn't want to press charges, and instead the two went home together and stayed a couple (on and off) for another six years.

A month after it was reported that Emma Roberts was single and Peters had moved out of their home together, she was said to be dating another actor, Garrett Hedlund.

After all this time in the headlines, Roberts has decided to keep her relationship with Hedlund private.“Relationships are hard enough between two people, let alone two people and the entire internet,” Roberts shared. “People say, ‘Why’s it so hard for celebrities to have relationships?’ My answer? ‘Do people photoshop their face over yours with your boyfriend?’ It’s just a weird thing. Hey, I get it: When I was growing up, I was obsessed with celebrity couples. It’s just not as fun when it’s you.”
