Fans were thrilled when SZA popped up on this month’s cover of “Rolling Stone” magazine. She doesn’t post a lot on social media, she doesn’t do a lot of press, AND she hasn’t released new music in some time now. However, the future princess of genre-blurring R&B came out of deep cover to grace us with her beauty on the cover of “Rolling Stone”. To make it more exciting she did it with fellow musicians Megan Thee Stallion and Normani.
The cover story is about “women shaping the future” and the headline includes “The Takeover: Music Next Superstars” hence the three very talented women on the cover. Megan shared the cover on her Instagram on Wednesday and soon after SZA sent off a barrage of tweets that had fans scared that they would be seeing even less of her than they do now. The 29-year-old tweeted, “not doing any videos Interviews or photos for the rest of my life lol don't ask.”

The singer went on to make sure she clarified that this tweet and the ones that follow have mothing to do with who she was on the cover of the magazine with. “S/o Normani and meg tho," tweeted SZA. "My sisters who I love very much and respect deeply. Honored to be apart of ANYTHING w the two of those BLACK QUEENS.” After she had gotten that out of the way, The singer went on to talk about what triggered this post, her anxiety.

“My anxiety has .03% to do w outside opinion,” SZA tweeted. “I was bullied all through high school I could care less . It's my OWN THOUGHTS THAT HIT DIFFERENT.” She isn’t wrong and was met with much love by her fans. One fan, @bbbrilliant replied to her tweet “Solana anytime you feel like your not good enough, just look at the people you have touched, I was bullied too, my own thoughts took over. Thats the biggest challenge you will have with yourself. Keep a postive mindset.”

SZA wasn’t the only one who had something to get off her chest after the cover was release. Hot girl Meg tweeted, “trying to impress other people is not on my list of things to do lol I wake up and live my life how tf I want to ??♀ #realhotgirlshit.” We just have one question, who is upsetting our girls? It is not clear if Megan’s comments had anything to do with the cover but the timing sure was interesting. With all the attention on these women since the release of the cover it’s kind of genius for SZA to open up about her anxiety again. She has already sparked many conversations around it and this is just the beginning.
