Soon-To-Be Family Of Five! Adam Levine And Behati Prinsloo Are Expecting Third Baby

Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo's family is about to get a little bigger. The couple just announced they are expecting their third baby, who will join daughters Dusty Rose, 5, and Gio Grace, 4.

The Maroon 5 frontman, 43, and Victoria's Secret model, 32, tied the knot in 2014. Prinsloo talked to Entertainment Tonight last year about wanting five kids with Levine. "We always knew we wanted a second one. So I think for me in those two years, when I had two babies under the age of two, I was just like, 'Don't even think about it!' But I do also want five kids, but don't even think about it," she said. "You know what, 'Never say never.' We want a big family, who knows, we're leaving it up to fate and just what happens. What will happen, will happen. So there's no limits to it." She went on to say, "I think it's just kind of where we are in our life. And with COVID too, I was just seeing them together, I'm like, 'Maybe we should have a third just to have more kids,' because it was so sweet to see [them together]. But then I don't know. Never say never."

In early 2020, Levine spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the possibility of a third baby, explaining that he would get punched in the face if he approached the topic. "I think if I asked her to have another baby right now she'd punch me in the f**king face, because she's not ready," he said. "We're good. We've got two kids."

Around the time of this interview, rumors were swirling that the couple was expecting a third child when a black-and-white photo resembling an ultrasound pic was posted to Prinsloo's Instagram page. She immediately started getting messages of congratulations. "Guys. This is not an ultrasound lol," she captioned the photo. "Dusty got hold of my phone and somehow posted this picture from my photo library i thought it was weird and cool and left it up. But everyone is now congratulating me on my 3rd pregnancy ? it's a close up of my black and white splatter sweat pants!"

In an interview on the "Ellen DeGeneres Show" in 2019, Prinsloo talked about how many kids the couple wants. "Adam wants five. I thought I wanted five, but now I think maybe, like, three or four," she said. "Adam can't have everything. I'm carrying them."

The couple's oldest daughter's name, Dusty Rose, came from DeGeneres. When Levine was on the show in November 2016, he discussed that it was DeGeneres who suggested the name to him in a text message. Prinsloo wasn't immediately on board with the idea, but it eventually grew on her. "I was like, 'Dusty?' My parents are going to think it's a piece of dusty. They're Afrikaans. English is not their first language. Dusty, no way - no no way,'" she said. "But as the months went by and the belly grew and the name kept coming in and out...She was born and she was a Dusty."
