Kanye West, Jada Pinkett Smith & More Celebs With Self-Admitted Porn Addiction

Kanye West’s recent admission about pornography contributing to the demise of his marriage to Kim Kardashian was shocking to say the least.

However, the rapper admitted his addiction started decades before during a 2019 interview.

Last week, the father-of-four went off on an Instagram tirade. He shared a photo of former sister-in-law, Kylie Jenner’s, friend Victoria Villarroel.

He captioned the now-deleted post, “Don’t let Kris make you do playboy like she made Kyle and Kim do. Hollywood is a giant brothel. Pornography destroyed my family. I deal with the addiction, Instagram promotes it. Not gonna let it happen to Northy and Chicago.”

Obviously, this was Kanye’s way of taking a shot at his ex-mother-in-law, Kris Jenner.

This isn’t the first time he’s spoken candidly about his addiction.

Kanye, who legally changed his name to ‘Ye’ last year, opened up about his addiction on Apple Music 1’s “The Zane Lowe Show.”

In this interview, Kanye told the story of how his interest in Playboy Magazine at age 5 grew into a “full blown addiction.”

Kanye told Lowe, “My dad had a Playboy left out at age 5 and it affected almost every choice I made for the rest of my life. From age 5 until now, having to kick the habit.”

Kanye credits his faith with helping him to overcome his various addictions including porn addiction.

The rapper’s former brother-in-law, Lamar Odom, has also struggled with addiction to porn, drugs and alcohol.

He suffered a near-fatal overdose in 2015 at a Nevada brothel. He checked into rehab following his OD for substance abuse, but his addiction to pornography continued.

In 2019, Odom stated that he had given up watching porn to work towards a healthier lifestyle.

His fiancée had noticed the pornography addiction was getting in the way of their relationship.

Odom told comedian Kevin Hart, “I think that’s what drugs and porn did- took me away from being present. You always want to be present with your loved ones.”

The former NBA star has expressed a TON of remorse and regret for cheating on his ex-wife, Khloe Kardashian.

Following her breakup from Tristan Thompson, Odom attempted to shoot his shot with her again, but to no avail.

Will Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, has also struggled with addiction to porn.

During an episode of her family’s Facebook Watch series, “Red Table Talk,” Jada and Willow Smith spoke openly about their relationship with pornography.

Jada revealed she had an unhealthy relationship with watching porn when she was trying to practice abstinence.

“Back in the day, I had a little porn addiction, but I wasn’t in a relationship when I had a porn addiction, believe it or not...thank goodness,” Jada said. “I actually feel like I was using ‘addiction’ a little lightly. And maybe I’ll say now that I had an unhealthy relationship to porn at one point in my life where I was trying to practice abstinence.”

Jada continued, “Reading some of the effects of pornography, like the idea that it really gives you false expectations, as far as sexual interactions.”

Jada and Will’s daughter admitted to watching porn for the first time at 11-years-old. She was able to access it on Tumblr.

Billie Eilish also began consuming pornographic material at 11-years-old.

In a 2021 interview with Howard Stern, the Grammy-winning singer said, “I think porn is a disgrace. I used to watch a lot of porn, to be honest. I started watching porn when I was, like, 11.”

She claims it “destroyed my brain” before adding she felt “incredibly devastated” that she was exposed to so much porn.

Eilish said she would get nightmares due to the violent and abusive nature of the pornography.
