Alex Rodriguez Is Back On the Market, Fans Think It's Over Kathryne Padgett

Alex Rodriguez is single again. The former Yankees player has split from Kathryne Padgett after less than a year of dating.

The exes are allegedly still friends according to a PageSix source. “They’re good friends – they’re just each single. They broke up, but they’re super tight. It’s all good.” Rodriguez is supposedly focusing on “having fun and hanging out with his family.”

The retiree has been hinting at the single life for a few weeks now, his latest Instagram Story post was of him eating a meal alone. He captioned it “dinner for one… Yankees game”.  Some fans also pointed out in his comments that Padgett hasn’t been around much.

A second PageSix source confirmed that the two called it quits. ”They parted ways, but remain great friends. He’s concentrating on his family and his businesses.”

The athlete continues to add fuel to the rumors that he is single, he posted another solo meal photo of some tasty-looking salmon. He also proceeds to post photos of himself at events alone. Normally, Padgett would be with him.

The last time the couple was seen together was back in June. Padgett, a fitness competitor was sporting a bikini and laying out on a yacht with A-Rod in Italy. They were also spotted in Spain with Jesse James Decker and Eric Decker.

Many of A-Rod’s friends have allegedly been saying that the relationship between the couple was never as serious as the media had assumed it was. “Kathryne’s a great girl, but they’re not serious. They’re just dating. They’re having fun, that’s it.”

Let’s not forget, that she is kind of a rebound is the first woman the athlete has dated since his very public 2021 breakup with Jennifer Lopez. Unfortunately, Lopez has swiftly moved on to marry Ben Affleck… twice. Meanwhile, Rodriguez has poured his time into his work and family.

Rodriguez has been flooding his timeline with posts about his job as a broadcaster for ESPN’s “Sunday Night Baseball”. He also recently posted about the Miami season opener for Fox Sports.  Another thing we noticed was there is no trace of Padgett on Rodriguez's IG page, all those fun curtsied photos and cute selfies are just gone, nowhere to be found.

Padgett also has no trace of A-Rod on her page. A lot of cute photos of her enjoying life and some from her fitness competitions, but none of her ex.

No one is overwhelmingly talking about the breakup but some comments on Padgett's latest IG post are indicating that she is moving on. “Enjoy!!! Life is too short!!” Said one friend. On an older photo of her time in Italy, a fan assumed that it was A-Rod’s hand in one of her photos and told Padgett to watch out.

“He loves to mess around on his women too. Thank goodness jlo was a woman with self-esteem and pride for herself.’
