TikTok'er Elyse Myers Is The Best Friend We All Need In 2022!

Elyse Myers is all of us (except she has 5.4 million TikTok followers). The honest, relatable content creator, comedian, and singer is the best friend we all need in our lives. She took the internet by storm when she told us about the worst date she ever had, has kept us all entertained saying the things we are all thinking, and helped our mental health in so many ways.

She was recently featured on "Office Ladies" podcast with Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey of "The Office" when they played an original song Myers created about the popular show called "Whispers in the Breakroom." And Myers couldn't be more excited about this opportunity, captioning her Instagram post, "excuse the interruption of my face break with this mind blowing news."

Myers lives in Omaha, Nebraska with her husband Jonas and their 1-year-old son August. While her humorous attitude and animated storytelling is a huge pull to her social media pages, her mental health messages are also very well received. Myers recently told PEOPLE, "It's just something that is very hard to talk about, and it shouldn't be. It should be as easy as talking about what you had for lunch."

The content creator wakes up before the sun to film her TikTok videos, and in many, talks honestly about ADHD, depression and anxiety. "I love that I can teach people that you can show up as yourself - exactly as yourself - and people can love you for it. That makes me really happy because I spent a lot of my life just masking the things that I was dealing with, thinking that it took me out of the running of being a successful human being," she explained. "And learning that in this season I am successful because I am transparent with all of it, has been very cool for me. The fact that I can share that with other people is pretty powerful."

In another recent TikTok video, Myers answered the question, "What is the goal" of making TikToks. "I'm making content that 10-year-old Elyse desperately needed when she was shaping her whole world view and whole sense of self with the internet."

It's not all work and no play for Myers. She also loves to make people laugh. Myers recently got the opportunity to create some fun content with her celebrity crush, Lance Bass of New Kids on the Block. They created a few videos together that can be seen on both their social media pages.
