“You guys, I’m just so proud of what we made and I know with every second of this moment that we wouldn’t have been able to make this short film if it weren’t for you the fans. I wouldn’t be able to re-record my albums if it weren’t for you, you emboldened me to do that.”

“My brand new album comes out October 21,” she told the cheering crowd, adding that she was releasing a new album as a way of giving back to her fans for voting for her to win the Video of the Year award.

“I made up my mind that if you were going to be this generous, and give us this … I thought it might be a fun moment to tell you my new album comes out Oct. 21, and I will tell you more at midnight,” she said. At midnight is when she released news of the album to her social media accounts.

Taylor Will Be Releasing A 'Clean' Version Of 'Midnights'

A Taylor Swift fan page was quick to point out that "Midnights" is going to be an explicit album, including shots of the "Clean" version available for preorder.

"Ohh she's gonna say f--- so many times," one fan commented.

"When one of the ‘sleepless nights’ is bc she was having s3x with Joe and it features their s3x tape," another fan ventured, although one fan replied, "That song exists. It's called Dress."
