'Strictly' Winner Stacey Dooley Is Expecting Her First Child With Boyfriend And Co-Winner Kevin Clifton

English tv presenter Stacey Dooley recently announced that she was pregnant for her first child with Kevin Clifton, her long-time boyfriend. The duo first met in 2018 as participants and dance partners in "Strictly Come Dancing."

The couple went in to win the competition and started dating a few months after. Dooley was still with her ex-boyfriend, Sam Tucknott, at the time of the competition; however, they split not long after.

In line with her previous comment concerning wanting to raise a family rather than getting married, the tv personality recently announced that she was pregnant for her first child with Clifton. The duo made the announcement on their various Instagram pages.

Dooley just revealed that she was expecting. The 35-year-old and her boyfriend, Clifton, started dating in 2019, months after winning the 16th series of "Strictly." She announced the news on Friday on Instagram, showing off her baby bump in a Polaroid picture.

Dooley captioned the photo, "Gaaaaaaang... We are having a baby! So bloody delighted. Kev, you're magic, I love youuuu. (Was becoming impossible to hide and if one more person asks me if I've had my tits done in LA I'm gonna scream). Here goessssssss."

The TV presenter's page was filled with several congratulatory comments from friends and fans alike as well as her fellow celebrities.

Clifton was also in the comments of the professional dancer's post, telling her he loved her. He posted the news on his Instagram, using the same picture and captioning it, "We're having a baby! And I think my girl @staceydooley looks beautiful pregnant."

While the couple occasionally gave updates about their relationship, they have kept it out of the spotlight for the most part. In a previous interview with Loose Women, Dooley talked about the public attention surrounding her relationship with Clifton and how she had to adjust to it later.

The 35-year-old said, "I did [struggle] initially; I did at the start. I didn't realize there would be such an interest, particularly with who I fancy and who I'm dating. I thought that was dull for everyone else. Now, Kev and I have been together for two years, so no one's really that fussed anymore, and we're so dull! "

The reality tv star previously talked about how she was more susceptible to starting a family than she was to getting married. In an episode of "Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over," Dooley said, "Kev and I have been together for two years. I don't think I want to get married. I think I'd be more interested in starting a family than getting married."

While on holiday with Clifton earlier this year, Dooley was seen wearing a ring that looked suspiciously like an engagement ring. However, the TV presenter dispelled the rumors, claiming that she would publicly announce when Clifton popped the question.

The professional dancer appeared on "The One Show"(per Digital Spy) and when asked if she had any announcements to make, she said, "I'm not getting married. You would absolutely be the first to know, but no, I'm so dull. I'm not getting married."

The reality star previously talked about how she had gone through a crisis due to being childless at her age. She went to Whitby in North Yorkshire for her new documentary, where she stayed at the Sisters of St Hilda's Priory Order of the Holy Paraclete for 10 days. Dooley revealed the experience made her appreciative of her time with Clifton.

Dooley and Clifton got together months after winning "Strictly," and shortly after, the 35-year-old broke off her five-year relationship with Sam Tucknott. Not long after their relationship went public, the jilted boyfriend reportedly confronted the "Strictly" winner and called him a "snake."

The personal trainer told The Daily Mail at the time, "He went white. I just stuck it on him, 'You're an absolute rat. How you conducted yourself. Just a slippery, slimy snake.' "He didn't say a word. He looked petrified. He looked so shocked.

Tucknott added that while he was "so respectful" of Dooley, he was "gutted" and "disappointed" that the reality star did not break the news to him personally. He said, "I feel so let down that she did not have the respect for me to tell me and just come clean."
