Grimes, popularly known for her distinct work in the music industry as well as her past relationship with business magnate Elon Musk, seems to have a beef with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg. She recently slammed him on Twitter for being an incompetent Metaverse head while calling him inadequately qualified to build an alternate reality with his new Meta equipment.

"If zuck "oversees the Metaverse," it is dead," Grimes began her statement, adding, "And people who care about art and culture are building something else. Also, this is bad art." The other part of her message then read:

"The quality of this image alone speaks to how wildly under qualified he is to build alternate reality, literally every indie game looks better."

The image she referred to was an attached real-life picture of Zuckerberg, like an avatar, transitioning into an alternate reality being. Furthermore, her tweet was a response to The Independent announcing that the Meta CEO would appear as a surprise guest on the latest show of "controversial podcast host" Joe Rogan.

In a three-hour interview, the duo discussed various topics, including Zuckerberg promoting the potential of Metaverse, highlighting his favorite hobbies, and revealing he has no time for social media despite having created one of the largest globally. As Independent reported, the tech magnate told Rogan about a piece of new Metaverse equipment to be released in October, allowing avatars to imitate users' facial expressions and make eye contact.

He explained, "Virtual reality really convinces your brain you are there. You have to convince your brain that this isn't real and that you are not actually there." Zuckerberg further mentioned "gloves" the company was working on to permit users to feel objects stressing that there will be chances to wear things "to augment the experience further."

However, he wanted to design the equipment without users needing a "fully immersive VR suit," requiring them to set up using multiple pieces. The highly successful entrepreneur pointed out that people will eventually want versions they can carry around anywhere, including on airplanes, in a coffee shop, or the office.

Aiming for a "normal-looking pair of glasses," not a VR headset, his company continues developing "waveguide" technology that could be made of plastic or glass. In addition, he predicted that in five years, the podcast interview could be done using AI glasses, and a hologram form of him would speak to Rogan.

Zuckerberg noted, "So few of the physical things we have in the world don't need to be physical; chairs and food need to be physical, but most entertainment, like TVs, don't need to be physical." He added that the screen would merely be an app on the wall, and the user would snap their fingers, causing a television hologram to appear.

As someone who enjoyed playing boxing games, he predicted that VR headsets could change fitness routines, believing that humans are brains in a body with a physical being and actions that are part of the human experience. Zuckerberg's company is said to be spending $10 billion on research this year, leading the CEO to point out the "incredibly wide amount of technology" needed to be built.

While he may not have enough hours in his day for social media, he does not control his young kids' access to it as he encourages them to use technology creatively.

The "Miss Anthropocene" Creator Openly Shares Desire To Get Face Mods

Grimes recently planned on spending the next few years with new face modifications, which she mentioned to her fans on Twitter, asking for suggestions about what alterations would look good on her. The Blast shared that she voiced her wish to get "elf ears," adding an apology to those who felt weird discussing body modification openly.

The "Alter Ego" judge believed not being open about it was unhealthy as people felt more self-conscious with those in the media concealing body mods. She further asked for recommendable places where she could do her elf ear modifiers and get vampire teeth caps in Austin or Los Angeles. However, she debated altering her ear since the cartilage would not heal and required permanent stitches.

While she may be thrilled about getting the body mods, the father of her kids, Elon Musk, was not a fan of the idea as he pointed out the repercussions on her career if she did such surgery.
