Vivica A. Fox Claims Jada Pinkett Smith Hasn't Spoken To Her Since Will Smith Oscars Slap

"Kill Bill" star Vivica A. Fox said Jada Pinkett Smith was yet to contact her post-Will Smith Oscars slap incident. In the Oscars award ceremony that took place in March, Will climbed on stage and slapped Chris Rock after the comedian made a joke about his wife's medical condition.

The actor has since spoken about the situation and apologized for his shocking action to both Rock and the entire world who witnessed it. His wife also previously revealed that she wanted the two entertainers to discuss the incident and reconcile.

Not long after Jada talked about the situation, Fox appeared in an emotional interview criticizing the actress's comment and saying it held no accountability. She recently revealed that the 50-year-old was yet to reach out to her since the incident happened early this year.

Fox recently revealed that she had no issues with Jada months after talking about the actress's comments concerning her husband's Oscar slap incident. She also said she had not spoken to the "Red Table Talk" host since her "The Wendy Williams Show" appearance.

The 58-year-old spoke to People Magazine at "The Great Wolf Pack: A Call to Adventure" premiere and commended Will for his decision to apologize after the incident. Fox said, "I think they're just really going through a season of healing right now."

She continued, "Listen, I love Will Smith. He's one of my favorite people on the planet. We all make mistakes. If there's one person that deserves a second chance, it is him. I think he's taken full accountability for his actions, and he apologized," she continued.

After his controversial physical altercation with Rock at the Oscars this year, Will took to social media a number of times to apologize for his behavior. The actor's wife, Jada, also spoke about the issue, however not in a way Fox approved.

In June, the 48-year-old got emotional on "The Wendy Williams Show," talking about Jada's comments concerning the Oscar incident. There she spoke of the married couple and how the "Collateral" star's comments "made [her] cry."

She continued, "I really felt that to be a partner to Will Smith — whose career basically took a crumble that night … I felt to be a good partner, there was no accountability." Fox added that she "wished that we could have had a little bit more accountability and for it to not seem so self-righteous on Jada's part."

In "The Red Table Talk" episode released earlier this year, Jada spoke about the Oscar incident involving her husband and Rock and her desire for the two parties involved "to have an opportunity to heal, talk this out and reconcile."

The 50-year-old said, "The state of the world today, we need them both," she continued. "And we all actually need one another more than ever. Until then, Will and I are continuing to do what we have done for the last 28 years, and that's keep figuring out this thing called life together. Thank you for listening."

In the episode, the actress also talked about alopecia. She revealed that several people suffering from the condition reached out to her after Rock joked about her lack of hair at the award show.

In a previous interview with Page Six during the American Heart Association's Red Dress Collection Concert in Hollywood, Fox revealed that many people commended her for calling the Oscars incident between Smith and rock a "black-on-black crime."

"People were actually happy with me that I was honest," she said. "They were like, 'Well, you told the truth! Some people thought I was gonna maybe sugar-coat it because, of course, I know all parties involved, but I was disappointed — I mean, really disappointed."

The actress continued, "I mean, listen, no one ever expected that to happen. All of us were literally blindsided and disappointed by a very unfortunate event that took the air out of the building. I told the truth. I always tell the truth. I think that's how to operate."
