Scott Disick's New Rumored Girlfriend Is 4 Years Older, Starting A New Trend?

Scott Disick seems to be changing his old ways and opting for a more mature romantic partner.

The television personality who has a history of dating way younger women, especially those in their early 20s, is said to have found love in the arms of a new woman who has some years over him.

According to US Weekly, the "Flip It Like Disick" star is reportedly dating Kimberly Stewart, the daughter of English Rock singer Rod Stewart. An insider confirmed the budding relationship, which comes months after his short-lived romance with model Rebecca Donaldson.

The source revealed to the publication that Disick and Kimberly have been "dating for a few months" now and are "really into each other." The rumored lovebirds have reportedly been friends for years, with Disick getting to know Kimberly through her brother Sean Stewart.

"They had the same friend group and hung out in the same circle," the insider mentioned. As for why they haven't gone public with their romance, another source reveals that are choosing to wait a while before sharing their happy news. The source also notes that the pair aren't "serious yet."

However, they are busy with "getting to know each other in a different way than seeing each other as friends." This isn't the first time Disick and Kimberly have sparked dating rumors, but it seems things are different this time.

Back in 2015, when Lord Disick, as he fondly called, freshly broke up with his first love and baby mama Kourtney Kardashian for good, he and Kimberly were rumored to have a thing. However, Kimberly's mom Alana Stewart set the record straight that they were just friends.

Before Disick's headline-making accident over the weekend, he was spotted leaving Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, holding hands with Kimberly.

If indeed Disick is dating Kimberly, this sets a new precedent for the known playboy as the model is four years older than him, something that almost never happens to the reality star.

The last time the New York native publicly dated someone older was his on-again-off-again relationship with the mother of his three kids. Ever since he has been linked to several women — Sofia Richie, Amelia Hamlin, and Donaldson — all of which are in their 20s.

Could this mean that the 39-year-old is looking to settle down? It's indeed hard to put the question past Disick, as he previously opened up about his desire to date older women.

As The Blast reported, in the premiere episode of season one of Hulu's "The Kardashians," the father-of-three discussed going for a more "age-appropriate" relationship while discussing with Khloe Kardashian about Kourtney moving on with Travis Barker.

"Honestly, I think for the first time in my life, it’s finally starting to change now that Kourtney has her life with Travis,” the Talentless founder explained. "As hard as it is, it does give me a place to finally be able to move on."

During the conversation, Disick and Khloe came to the conclusion that if he were to have any "serious" relationship, it would have to be with someone older.

"I think that’s a big step for me. But not over 30. Oh, whatever, 30, over 30, I don’t [care]- whatever it is. If I love somebody, doesn’t matter their age," he said in a follow-up confessional. When asked by the interviewer if he meant what he said, Disick answered, "I’m not sure about that."
