The late Anne Heche, officially passed away on August 11 and survived by loved ones and family, including her two boys, will finally be laid to rest among fellow Hollywood icons. As reported by ET, her sons, Homer and Atlas, chose the final burial site and released a statement regarding the family's decision to lay Heche to rest surrounded by her celebrity "peers."
Anne Heche Will Be Laid To Rest At The Hollywood Forever Cemetery
The "Another World" actress' boys chose to bury their mother at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, and it was recently discovered that she would be kept in the crypt at her burial. In addition, she will be laid to rest close to fellow celebs like Mickey Rooney, Halyna Hutchins, Johnny Ramone, Chris Cornell, Valerie Harper, and Anton Yelchin.
Her final burial site has quite the scene, with a magnificent view of the lake situated within the Garden of Legends and a view of the Hollywood Sign. The spot is in a more reserved area of the famous cemetery, picked by her sons with the belief that it would be significant and special to their mom.
While details of the burial ceremony, including the date, have not been communicated, Heche's first son Homer released a statement on behalf of him and his younger brother Atlas about their mother's resting place. The statement partly read:
"My brother Atlas and I want to thank Tyler, Noelle, and all the amazing people at Hollywood Forever for their kindness, compassion, and generosity of spirit."
It continued, "We are convinced our mom would love the site we have chosen for her; it's beautiful, serene, and she will be among Hollywood peers." The 20-year-old further noted that Hollywood Forever was a "living place, where people attend movies and concerts and other events," adding that he was reminded that his mother also belonged to such a community.

In conclusion, Homer stated, "She was our mom, but the kindness and the outpouring of the past few days reminded us that she also belongs to her fans, to the entertainment community, and now, to the ages." Heche's death certificate, which the outlet obtained, revealed that she was cremated on August 18 at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, days after she was taken off life support on August 14.
This came about after her involvement in a fatal car crash, leading her to die from smoke inhalation and thermal injuries, as confirmed by the L.A. County Medical Examiner-Coroner's Office. Earlier this month, The Blast revealed that the official records showed that she also suffered a "sternal fracture due to blunt force trauma," while the full autopsy report had not been released at the time.
It is no news that the "Return to Paradise" star had a series of accidents driving her blue Mini Cooper, leading up to her ultimate collision with a home that resulted in a massive fire. She was also seen flailing her arms and still conscious when whisked away in an ambulance at the scene. And upon her arrival at the hospital, she went unconscious, never regaining consciousness again.

Her blood was also tested at the hospital, and according to the LAPD, it contained cocaine and fentanyl. However, the fentanyl may have probably entered her bloodstream after she was administered for pain management. The brilliant actress will always be deeply missed by many but will live on through her kids, her "iconic body of work, and her passionate advocacy, as her representative expressed days after the crash.
The "Save Me" Actress Spends Final Moments In Hair Salon, Purchasing A Wig
Heche's final moments before her passing was likely spent with salon owner and celebrity hair and make-up artist Richard Glass, who she visited to get a wig almost an hour before her accident. The Blast shared that Glass recounted his time with her via an interview, revealing that it was "so strange" and "very random," but the 53-year-old did not appear to be intoxicated.
Since the accident, the hairstylist has been slammed on social media with claims about giving his late client the drugs discovered in her system. He eventually addressed the allegations by stating that he had never been on drugs and that the critics were only being hateful.
Glass felt responsible for Heche's unfortunate crash, and he believed there was a higher power that led her to his salon so that he may have saved her life. Unfortunately, the likelihood of saving was relatively negligible, given the deceased's background.
