Doja teased her toned midriff and cleavage in the sultry ensemble, accessorizing with dangling earrings and a statement necklace. The award-winning artist was seen holding two brushes and painting on a canvas when she dropped the good news.

"I quit vaping. It’s day 70 of no vape. Day 70! Are you proud of me?" She said with a wide grin on her face, staring sheepishly at the camera. Doja continued, "day f**king 70, no vaping. I would love to have a smoke in the name of love."

The 26-year-old was candid about her frustration with not vaping these past months. However, her joy at staying sober was evident in her demeanor. Earlier this year, Doja opened up about her vaping addiction while announcing to her fan the cancellation of her upcoming shows and festival appearances.

The 'Woman' Singer Had To Have Tonsil Surgery Due To Vaping

As The Blast reported, in May, Doja revealed she would be saying no to shows due to tonsil surgery. She broke the news in a social media update that read, "Hi guys. I wanted you to hear it from me first. Unfortunately, I have to have surgery on my tonsils asap. The surgery is routine but the recovery is going to take a while due to swelling. That means I have to cancel my festival run this summer as well as The Weeknd tour."

She expressed her heartfelt apology to fans, writing, "I feel horrible about this but can’t wait for this to heal and get back to making music and create an experience for y’all." Before the shocking announcement, which left fans disappointed, Doja opened up about her struggle to quit vaping in a series of tweets.

In an earlier tweet, she warned that her throat was "fucked" because she suffered an abscess in her tonsils. Before the announcement, Doja made headlines for vaping before she went on stage to receive her award for best R&B album at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards.

She explained that the viral moment worsened her tonsil issues, writing, "I was taking fuckin antibiotics but forgot that i was taking them, and then I drank wine and was vaping all day long, and then i started getting a nasty ass growth on my tonsil so they had to do surgery on it today."

When fans began attacking her for being careless and urging her to throw away her vape, Doja confessed she had a nicotine addiction. "Throwing them away just instills panic. I’m addicted but I’m not weak. I was literally staring at my vape today that normally I’d hit a thousand times a day and hit it two times instead. I’ma try to go cold turkey for now but hopefully, my brain doesn’t need it at all by then," she admitted.

Doja's sobriety milestone comes a week after she blasted critics who came for her bald look. Doja switched up her style earlier in the month, shaving off her hair and eyebrows during an Instagram Live session. Many worried she was having a mental breakdown, but she cleared the air saying she never enjoyed having hair. However, that didn't stop the trolls from coming for her.
