Kim Kardashian Is Set To Dip Her Toes Back In The Dating Pool... This Time 'Someone Older'

Reality star Kim Kardashian is ready to get back into the dating scene.

The beauty mogul recently ended her relationship with comedian Pete Davidson. The pair's unexpected romance started after they met during Kardashian's first hosting gig on "Saturday Night Life" back in October 2021. Kardashian and Davidson traveled extensively together throughout their relationship, most of which were to tropical locations.

While supporters hoped the couple would continue their love by getting married, sources revealed earlier in the month that their nine-month relationship had come to an end. Per reports, Kardashian has indicated that she is ready to resume dating and has a list of characteristics she is looking for in her future partner.

A source revealed to E! News that Kim has stated that she is ready to start dating again and is "asking who she should date next." The reality star was previously in a relationship with comedian Pete Davidson for nine months. However, the pair shocked the world by calling it off when many thought they would walk down the aisle.

Being a much sought-after star, Kardashian definitely has a lot of potential dating possibilities to pick from as she tries once again to snag a boo for herself. Per an insider, the beauty mogul's friends are helping her ease back into the dating scene, as they have been "constantly trying to set her up."

The reality star has been married thrice over the years, starting with Damon Thomas from 2000 to 2004, Kris Humphries from 2011 to 2013, and Kanye West from 2014 until they officially separated in 2021. She shares four kids, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, with the rapper.

A report revealed that the SKIMS founder "was excited" about taking a chance on love once again. However, the reality star is in no hurry as she wants her next partner to come with the right set of qualities.

While she is ready to date someone older after her relationship with Davidson, she is not prepared to compromise her freedom for her subsequent relationship.

"Kim's expressed she's ready to date someone older, but it has to be the right person who understands her life," another source said. "She isn't compromising her freedom right now."

The reference to the age comes after the reality star shared a 13-year age gap with Davidson. Per Page Six, the former "Saturday Night Live star" wanted to be more spontaneous with their dating, while Kardashian couldn't.

"Pete is totally spontaneous and impulsive and wants her to fly to New York, or wherever he is on a moment's notice," a source said amid the breakup news via Page Six. "But Kim has four kids, and it isn't that easy. She needs to focus on the kids."

The source also reported at the time that Kardashian was "totally exhausted by this relationship and other things going on in her life."

The reality star had to balance her romance with Davidson, running a beauty empire while raising her four children, and her reality program. West's persistent internet antics and other verbal attacks further strained the relationship phase.

Davidson and Kardashian ultimately split up but chose to remain as friends, as reported by Page Six. "Kim and Pete have decided to just be friends," a source close to Kardashian shared.

In the meantime, Kardashian recently teamed up with Dr. Dre's company to produce Beats x Kim. And much like Kim's personal preferred fashion palette, the buds come in three earth-tone colors: Moon (light), Dune (medium), and Earth (deep).

She promoted several product samples on her Instagram page while sporting a tight, neutral-colored sports bra and shorts ensemble.
