Finding A Family-Friendly Venue For The Wedding Was Important To Shay

Choosing the wedding venue meant finding a location that will be family-friendly so their daughter would be easily occupied. Shay saw four different locations with her wedding planner before deciding on Dreams Natura Resort & Spa. "They had everything I wanted: the glass platform over the pool, a lazy river, a little waterpark," Shay said. "It was family-friendly and it just felt right. We needed something that would be good for her and also fun for our guests."

Shay's first wedding was documented in season 3 of "Vanderpump Rules." She wanted things to be different this time around and left most of the details to her wedding planner Shelby Marie with Simply Classic Events. Wedding Guests Came From All Over The World To Celebrate With The Couple

Wedding guests came from near and far to join the couple for their big day. Some of Davies' relatives came from Australia. "I just wanted as much of Brock's family and friends to be able to be here because, although this is the second marriage for us both, this is his first wedding. For me it was just really important to make this as special a possible for him and his family," Shay said. "The fact that that many people came on vacation with us is so cool. I feel like it's a small wedding in scale, but it's big for a destination. I want this special moment. Brock deserves this. We deserve this."

From Nuptials To The After Party

Shay walked down the aisle in the poolside ceremony wearing a custom designed dress by Pol' Atteu from the Amazon Prime Video reality series "Gown and Out in Beverly Hills" while a custom mix of Israel Kamakawiwo'ole's version of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" mixed by her "Vanderpump Rules" co-star James Kennedy played. Davies was wearing all white in a custom bespoke suit by Art Lewin. After vows were exchanged, there was a cocktail hour on the roof and then the reception with a DJ and fireworks display.

After the reception, the party continued with an after party at an on-site cenote with more dancing and tacos to close the night out. "It's Taco Tuesday," Shay said. And while the couple doesn't have any immediate honeymoon plans, Davies told his new wife that there is a surprise trip planned. "It's booked - think crystal blue waters," he said.
