Christina Hall & Tarek El Moussa Celebrate Son Brayden's Milestone: 'It’s Crazy How Time Flies'

Tarek El Moussa and Christina Hall's first son, Brayden, goes to school!

The former HGTV couple ensured they cleared their schedules to kick off the seven-year-old's first day of first grade on the morning of August 23. However, the pair chose to snap separate pictures on the same bench outside the school. They shared more than just those images on their social media pages to the delight of their fans and followers.

For every doting parent, missing the first day of their child's major milestone is a no-no. This must have been what was running through the minds of El Moussa and his ex-wife, Hall, when they both showed up for Brayden's first day of school as a first grader.

Fans got to see what went down through the lens of Hall's Instagram Story when she posted a stand-alone image of the seven-year-old posing by a bamboo structure. The schoolboy looked ready for the day in his gray short-sleeved Polo shirt, khaki shorts, and little Skechers boots.

A second Story showed the mother-of-two sitting on a school bench with one hand around Brayden and the other holding her second son, Hudson London. The two-year-old preschooler, whom the TV personality shared with ex-husband Ant Anstead appeared comfortable as he sat on her lap and napped. Hall wrote across the bench picture, "Someone's excited. someone wants to be back in bed [yawning emoji].

The school bench made a second appearance when El Moussa posted an image of him, his pregnant wife, Heather Rae Young, and Brayden sitting on it on Instagram. While the schoolboy sat on his dad's lap, Young placed her hand around her man.

The couple opted for an all-dark outfit even though the pregnant wife added white sunglasses and a matching cross bag to her fit. In the caption, El Moussa acknowledged that life was a "wild ride," and it was even crazier that time flew by so fast. In his words:

"Like many of you out there, today we dropped the little man off to first grade! Life is a wild ride, and it's crazy how time flies! I feel like yesterday my little guy was in diapers throwing food off his tray:) well. he's out of the diapers but still throwing food lol."

The real estate investor added that he was having "so much fun" watching his son grow as the seven-year-old had spent the last two weeks driving go-carts, going bodyboarding, and even had his first football practice. El Moussa concluded his statement by noting that this was "just the best age," and he could not explain how much he loved being Brayden's father.

The last time Christina's blended family celebrated an educational milestone was when her second son Hudson whom she shares with Ant Anstead, began summer school in July, per The Blast. In a series of pictures his dad dropped on Instagram, the excited boy could be seen posing on a pathway with a blue backpack and a matching lunch box and getting kisses from Anstead.

The toddler looked dapper in a long-sleeved top, shorts, socks, and sneakers. After explaining that it was "Hudzo's" first day at his summer school, Ant penned, "This has been building up the past few days from him precisely choosing his new lunch box to exactly what he wants to wear today! (Of course he had to carry it the whole way!)."

The motor specialist added that his son, who was "so independent and grown-up," had a "real skip in his step" that morning. He concluded the caption by crowning himself, "one proud daddo!"

In July, Hall revealed to her 1.8 million followers that she loved cuddling her children a little too much. The Blast reported that the mom-of-three posted a snapshot of her and Hudson snuggled up in bed on Instagram. The mother-son duo, who appeared to be rocking matching black outfits as they napped, were nestled under the covers of a blanket and matching pillows. In the caption, the "Flip or Flop" star wrote:

"Cuddles are my love language and I live for them. [love emoji] Summertime has us like[party emoji, sleeping emoji]."

The post has received over 28k likes and hundreds of fan comments since it dropped. While a few people dropped different variations of the emojis, one person called it. a "precious moment." Another fan called the image "adorable," and a third recalled the days when she could snuggle with her children during their young era.

A fourth commenter chimed in, "mommy's cuddles are always the best" — a sentiment shared by others who agreed that nothing beats children cuddling with their parents. One extra commenter noted, "Sooooooo adorable, the blonde hair, black shirts, white sheets, picture perfect."

Others were just glad that the family was doing better after the medical scare Brayden had in May. Hall uploaded a picture of the toddler hooked up to a machine, revealing that he had "an emergency appendectomy" and removed "Meckel's diverticulum" that morning. Fans quickly took to the comments to wish the then-six-year-old a speedy recovery.
