Bravo may have let it slip who one of the new Real Housewives of New York cast members will be and she isn’t a native New Yorker.
The South Invades The East
Word on the street is that Texas-born Lizzy Savetsky, a fashion influencer will be joining the popular show. The young mom is a mini influencer with 200,000 followers and married to Dr. Ira Savetsky, a plastic surgeon.
Her IG account features a lot of her lifestyle with her three kids and husband. And judging by the comments she knows a few rich and famous people. The thing that sticks out the most is Savetsky’s dedication to her faith! She is of Jewish faith and regularly educates her followers on the religion and how it’s celebrated in their home.

RHONY Cast Is Shooketh Up
The influencer is the first rumored cast member to surface since Bravo announced that the original RHONY was “on pause” and now split into two series after a lacking last season. It was probably one of, if not THE worst RHONY season.
At the time, new cast member Eboni K. Williams was brought on through Leah McSweeney and almost immediately rubbed the OG’s the wrong way. The lawyer and political TV consultant seemed to bring up depressing social issues quite a bit and not always at the best time. Girl we don't watch reality TV for that.
LuAnn de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, and Ramona Singer are all known to be tone deaf AF but because they say and do cute things or, their older, they have been getting a pass, unfortunately, Williams calls that out a bit too much and McSweeney fearlessly backed her up.
The season ended with cast members divided to a point of no return and for the first time, Bravo did not have a reunion because most of the women allegedly couldn’t be wrangled up to go.
Two Is Better Than One
The RHONY producers came up with a brilliant idea to split the show in two. So now fans can look forward to Real Housewives of New York: Legacy in addition to the regular series and it's allegedly featuring most of the older cast members like Tinsley Mortimer, Sonja Morgan, and LuAnn de Lesseps.
There was even talk that Jill “Thirsty Jill” Zarin could have a slim chance of returning after her very Jill-like season of spinoff Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. Even Dorinda Medley could be back after the disastrous trip to Bluestone Manor that had viewers glued to their TV.
Then, there is this new mystery cast that no one knew about until now starting with Savetsky. There are no other rumored cast members yet but chances on they know one another in some extremely small capacity.
Cast Shakeup Sparks Franchise Returns
RHONY is not the only cast that is reaping the benefits of the highly successful RHUGT spinoff, Atlanta and Orange County are also ready to bring back controversial cast members. RHOA could see the return of Phaedra Parks the attorney was a fan favorite on RHUGT and had fans wondering why she was no longer on the show.
“This is what Dorinda just told me: They asked Tamra [Judge] back, they asked Taylor [Armstrong] back, they asked Phaedra [Parks] back, they’re potentially going to ask Dorinda back, and they didn’t ask Vicki [Gunvalson] back,” shared Kelly Dodd son Instagram Live.
But let’s not forget that Parks accused Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker of plotting to sexually assault Portia Williams… allegedly so her return could be a big issue. Yeah, she was fun on RHUGT but she potentially lied about SA.
Don’t forget that Tamra Judge is back in the fold as well. The fitness fanatic has earned her spot back after an award-winning performance on RHUGT, it was only good enough to win her a spot back, not “whoop it up” gal pal Vicki Gunvalson
That Was A lot, Let’s Recap
So, what we know is that there is a great chance that Singer, de Lesseps, and Morgan are most likely going back for Legacy. Truthfully, as annoying as they can be, they make the show. The new RHONY is going to be “younger and fresher” a cast that is more relatable to a younger generation according to Bravo.
Savetsky has a colorful past that could possibly carry at least two episodes alone. She is a former serious alcoholic and endured some trauma during that time. She speaks about it on her IG but real talk, when Bravo editors put their spin on that story, it's going to suck viewers right in! Share the prayer from alcoholic to doctor husband, honey.

Finally, even if Morgan and de Lesseps do not return to the original series, we are going to get to see them in that Simple Life-style show that a flurry of people have been seeing them filming all over NY.
