Rolling Stonesfrontman Mick Jagger is living proof that live music can give you 'satisfaction' at any age!
The 79-year-old singer, who has been at the helm of The Rolling Stones since 1962, has never been one to turn his nose up at and ignore modern music. Despite his busy schedule, which is still filled with Rolling Stones tour dates from time to time, Jagger still has his pulse on the latest happens within pop culture and knows a thing or two about the biggest bands of the last 20 years, too!
Jagger's last year may have been shaped in part by sadness and irritants (he lost his longtime friend and drummer of the Rolling Stones Charlie Watts last summer, and the band also had to cancel a few tour dates earlier this summer after Jagger caught COVID-19), however, he clearly isn't stewing in his sadness!
Last night Jagger was spotted having a great time while watching one of the biggest bands of the last two decades live in concert.
A video of Jagger dancing and having a grand ol' time at the show was shared on his Twitter account earlier this morning! Read on to find out who the "Miss You" singer wouldn't dare to miss in concert!
Looking Back At The Rolling Stones Singer's Eventful Last Year
When he isn't performing live on stage, Jagger is still keeping track of his musical successors. And, yes, he isn't afraid to let the world know exactly what he thinks of the popular crop of singers who are dominating the charts!
Jagger is plenty aware of the comparisons being drawn to one of the most popular band members-turned solo sensations of the last decade, Mr. Harry Styles!
Earlier this spring The Blast reported on Jagger's thoughts about the "Music For A Sushi Restaurant" singer. He shared his thoughts on Styles in an interview with The Sunday Times per an article in The New York Daily News, where he not-so-subtly expressed a desire for the comparisons between him and Styles to die down.
When it comes to the duo's similar style choices, Jagger told the publication, "I mean, I used to wear a lot more eye make-up than him... I was much more androgynous." he said.
Jagger's thoughts toward Styles didn't end at his closet. Jagger also targeted Styles' stage presence.
"And he doesn't have a voice like mine or move on stage like me; he just has a superficial resemblance to my younger self, which is fine- he can't help that," Jagger pointed out.
Before the Styles stans assemble, Jagger did make sure to squash any potential chagrin against the singer. He was careful to mention he and Styles are cool with one another and have an "easy relationship."
Jagger clearly isn't ready to pass the torch onto the next generation of performers just yet. As we've previously mentioned, The Rolling Stones are still actively touring, and Jagger is still dedicated to giving his all to their live performances, so much so that he was sure to relay the message he would be returning to the stage following his recovery from COVID in June.
The Blast not only reported The Rolling Stones had to cancel a few tour dates while Jagger had been ill, but we also reported he took to Instagram to thank fans for their good wishes and let them know he was looking forward to getting back on stage!
The Stones were set to take the stage in Amsterdam before the announcement of Jagger's positive COVID diagnosis had been announced.

The Rolling Stones may have a spooky song dedicated to enjoying some fancy footwork with the devil with 1973's "Dancing With Mr. D," but Jagger wasn't dancing with any demons last night!
In a video captured by a fellow concertgoer standing next to Jagger, he was seen goofily dancing along to Coldplay's poignant ballad "Fix You" while wearing a string of lights on his wrist. "Fix You'' contains the familiar refrain "lights will guide you home."
If lights could guide Jagger to a Coldplay concert, there's no telling where he could be going next!
