Mick Jagger is almost back on stage!

The new update to the delight of his fans comes days after the lead vocalist of the Rolling Stones tested positive for COVID-19.

The 78-year-old and his band had to take a step back just before they hit the stage in Amsterdam but are ready to get things rolling again.

In an Instagram-shared statement, Jagger thanked fans for their support and announced the rescheduled date for his band's show in Amsterdam.

After the "Paint It, Black" singer appreciated his fans for their "well wishes and messages," he excitedly said he is on track to return to the stage within the next week.

He then added that the new date for The Rolling Stones Amsterdam performance is July 7 and that the rescheduled date for their show in Bern, Switzerland, would be revealed soon.

The post garnered well over 40k likes and thousands of comments within a few hours of going live. One person exclaimed that he knew Jagger "would snap right back," while another encouraged the actor to take time to heal fully.

Several others asked him to "keep rocking," and a few gave him props for previously held concerts in their cities.

The Rolling Stones were a few hours away from shutting down Amsterdam's Johan Cruyff Arena on Monday evening when Jagger disclosed that he had tested positive for Covid.

The show, which was the fourth date of the band's 60th-anniversary tour, was quickly canceled. Unfortunately, many eager fans had gathered outside the venue before the announcement.

Others were on their way to see the amazing band who made hits like "You Can't Always Get What You Want," "Can't You Hear Me Knocking," "Jumpin' Jack Flas," "Gimme Shelter," and "Sympathy for the Devil."

The Blast shared that The Rolling Stones did not hesitate to apologize to those fans, stating they were "deeply sorry for tonight's postponement."

The rock & roll band added that the safety of "the audience, fellow musicians, and the touring crew has to take priority."

Jagger's stint with COVID-19 would not be his first time having health challenges that required him to step back from performing.

In 2019, the rocker had heart valve replacement surgery.  He underwent surgery just as the band was embarking on a worldwide tour, so the shows had to be paused.

In usual fashion, the "Memo from Turner" vocalist updated his worried fans with a social media post. In his words:

"Thank you everyone for all your messages of support, I’m feeling much better now and on the mend - and also a huge thank you to all the hospital staff for doing a superb job."

The Rolling Stones fans soon discovered Jagger had not been joking about the speed of his recovery as a video of the father-of-eight doing his signature footwork for rehearsals soon dropped on Instagram

The "Running Out of Luck" Producer Has More Than His Health To Worry About

Amid the issues plaguing his health, The Rolling Stones frontman has had to speak out about getting compared to Harry Styles – one of pop music's biggest stars in recent times.

The comparison between the pair is such old news that fans recalled how similar they looked during a "Saturday Night Live" sketch that Styles partook in five years ago.

The former One Direction member appeared on the long-running comedy show and appeared as Jagger for a special edition of the regular sketch "Celebrity Family Feud."

He rocked a white suit and shoulder-length hair for his role and even threw in a few Jagger grimaces and pouts for the excited audience.

However, the 78-year-old was not having any of that, as The Blast earlier reported that he attempted to put an end to the comparisons when he said:

"I mean, I used to wear a lot more eye make-up than him… I was much more androgynous."

Besides referring to his fashion choices in the sixties and seventies, Jagger noted that Styles' voice sounded nothing like his.

The younger pop star did not "move on stage like me; he just has a superficial resemblance to my younger self, which is fine- he can't help that."

Despite Jagger's unshakeable stance that no pop star would ever move like him, he admitted that he and Styles share an "easy relationship."
