Gabby Petito Look-Alike Vanishes Exactly One Year After Gabby!

This month marks the one-year-anniversary since the disappearance and tragic death of Gabby Petito.

She was on a cross-country road trip with her fiancé, Brian Laundrie, at the time of her death.

Her mother, Nichole Schmidt, reported her missing on September 11, 2021. Days before she was reported missing, Laundrie returned to his parent’s North Port, FL. home in Gabby’s white conversion van without his fiancé.

Sadly, her remains were discovered in Wyoming’s Bridger-Teton National Forest on September 19. She was declared to have been dead for at least three weeks prior to the discovery.

Gabby’s death was ruled a homicide by manual strangulation. Laundrie admitted to killing his loved one in a journal entry. He said it was the “merciful” thing to do.

Now, exactly one year after Gabby’s tragic passing, a new missing person case is making headlines.

A 16-year-old female named Kiely Rodni has been missing since August 6.

She strikes a chilling resemblance to Gabby and the late 22-year-old’s aesthetic.

Kiely has blonde hair, hazel eyes and a tattoo on her ribs, according to her family.

She’s 5’7” tall and weighs about 118 pounds.

On or around 12:30 AM on August 6th, Kiely along with her 2013 Honda CRV disappeared near the Prosser Family Campground in Truckee, CA.

She was attending a massive end-of-school bash at the time of her disappearance.

According to reports, the bash was attended by nearly 300 people. Reports claim of those 300 people were men in the late 20s supplying free drugs including mushroom, cocaine and alcohol.

Reddit users who worked tirelessly to help find Gabby have since issued a call-to-arms on the VanLife subreddit.

This subreddit was used to share information, clues and more during the search for Gabby.

On Monday, August 15, Nevada Country Sheriff’s admitted that they still had no solid clues as to what happened to Kiely.

"We are moving into a more limited but continuous search-and-rescue effort," Capt Sam Brown said.

Police were initially treating the case as a possible abduction given her CRV is missing as well, but have since determined it is a missing person case.

"We are going to have to switch modes and kind of focus on the investigative end and try to figure out, where do we go from there,” Capt Brown said.

Kiely was last seen wearing green Dickies pants, a black tank top and jewelry.

Her friend Sami Smith shared footage from the night of Kiely’s disappearance.

She exclusively told The U.S. Sun, "The last recording sighting of her was 12.40am. I was the last person to speak to her at 12.36am, when she asked me if I still needed a ride home."

Kiely’s phone was last pinged near Prosser Lake according to Police.

Sami also spoke to Fox News Digital and revealed Kiely was likely too inebriated to drive.

Much like Gabby’s missing person case, hundreds of volunteers have come together to help find Kiely.
