Are Meghan Markle and Prince Harry doomed?
A royal expert thinks so!
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are set to travel across the pond to Prince Harry’s home country in addition to Germany.
Meghan & Harry Are Going Back To His Homeland
The Blast previously reported the couple will head to the UK and Germany for charity events.
A spokesperson for the couple revealed to Page Six, “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are delighted to visit with several charities close to their hearts in early September.”
Meghan and Harry will attend the 2022 One Young World Summit in Manchester, England on September 5th, the 2023 Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, Germany the following day and the 2022 WellChild Awards in London on September 8.
The Invictus Games are very near and dear to Harry’s heart.
Since its 2014 inception, Prince Harry has been a dedicated supporter of the sporting competition for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams says the couple is “venture into the lion’s den.”
Harry and Meghan stepped back from their royal duties in 2020 and moved to Montecito, CA.
Since arriving to the West Coast, the couple has done multiple public appearances and bombshell tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021.
Fitzwilliams believes their upcoming trip will be a “fairly difficult” one given everything they revealed in the interview.
The Duke & Duchess Of Sussex Are Going Into The "Lions Den"
One of the biggest revelations from the 2021 sit-down was a royal family member allegedly made comments about Meghan and Harry’s first-born’s skin color.
It’s been reported it was Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall who made jokes about Archie’s race and hair.
Another factor playing into their unpopularity is Harry’s upcoming memoir.
“What has happened during this period is that their ratings have dropped phenomenally,” Fitzwilliams told Newsweek. “Their popularity has plunged in Britain.”
According to a YouGov poll, it showed the couple’s popularity had dropped to an all-time low with the public.
Per Newsweek via YouGov, the results showed that Meghan was viewed negatively by 63 percent of adults surveyed, with a -42 net approval rating.
Harry too saw his ratings drop to a -26 net approval rating, with 58 percent of survey respondents saying they viewed him negatively.
Harry & Meghan's Popularity Has Plummeted Among British Civilians
Fitzwilliams believes the drop in popularity will only give the press and media more fire to throw at them.
"They know when they appear that they are at war with the press here, it's rather like venturing into the lion's den now because you've got the public who are not supportive and you've got the press who are ferociously against them—and then you've also got the royal family where there's a rift," he said.
If Meghan and Harry were still working members of the Royal Family, this trip would fall in lie with their royal duties.
"Originally they wanted to step back, not step down," he said. "Obviously they're not performing royal duties but they are members of the royal family even though they no longer use their HRH (His/Her Royal Highness) titles."
Harry and Meghan did visit the UK for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in June.
They also celebrated their daughter, Lilibet Diana Windsor Mountbatten-Windsor’s, first birthday as well.
Things between Harry and Her Royal Highness are on the mend; however, things with his father and brother are still strained.
