Kendall Jenner Talks About Learning To Drift, Shares Secret To Avoiding Tickets With Ellen

Aside from modeling and makeup, the Kardashian siblings all have their passions outside of their reality TV show. The Keeping Up With Kardashians stars love skiing, healthy eating, and more recently, law school.

Kendall Jenner recently sat with Ellen DeGeneres to chat about her favorite hobbies. The model revealed her favorite new hobby -- drifting cars -- and divulged her secret to getting out of traffic tickets. Ellen returned in kind, sharing a few secrets of her own bad driving history.

Kendall described a friendly get-together she had planned for her 24th birthday in November of last year. The model told Ellen she had invited her friends who loved to drive out to a racetrack and asked them to bring "fun" cars.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star admitted to growing up with a love for both cars and sports and said she thought it would be a great combination and a good way to spend her special day with her friends.

Kendall reminisced about learning to drift, describing drifting to Ellen as skidding around and explaining the practice as "stuff you can't do on a regular street."

Jenner detailed her learning process, saying that she first learned in cars that were provided by the instructors so it would be OK for her to "mess up" in them. She admitted drifting felt impossible to get the hang of at first, but that there was a moment when the process just clicked for her.

After hearing about Kendall's passion for racing cars, Ellen suggested that the reality TV star must have gotten a ticket before. Kendall revealed that she had, and that she had been pulled over many times, but claimed officers often let her go based on her famous athlete father Caitlyn Jenner.

Ellen joked that Kendall had many more tickets than she did (based on Kendall's inability to remember how many citations had been issued in her lifetime) but the host also admitted her fame has gotten her out of several traffic stops.

Robert tends to be an overarching entity in the Kardashian siblings' lives. The famous family often attributes their successes and hobbies to their famous lawyer father.

Kim Kardashian recently opened up about her love of skiing, revealing she had gotten into the sport with her father and has now passed that knowledge onto her own children. Kim also credits Robert with her recent shift to law school, saying she had first struck up an interest in law watching him work as a teen.
