Jennifer Lopez is making headlines after her performance at the Super Bowl halftime show alongside Shakira. The celebrity artist first married in February 1997 to a Cuban waiter, Ojani Noa. The marriage lasted less than a year ending in January 1998, and the two have since had a sour relationship.

In 2006, Noa had tried to publish a book, which included intimate details of their marriage. However, Lopez moved to court in a bid to block the publishing. According to her, they had signed a privacy agreement that Noa wanted to violate.

Noa later suffered a Fine in 2007 following Lopez’s lawsuit. The star was awarded $545,000 for breaching their agreement and was further given an injunction restraining him from publishing the book.

Noa suffered the blow for breach of contract, despite having sued Lopez first in 2004 over a breach of contract. He had dropped the case before its determination.

Noa was not yet contented about releasing their intimate details to the public.

In 2013, a business partner opened up that an agreement was underway regarding Noa’s private honeymoon video release.

Noa claimed to have a video footage that he planned to release. The footage never contained adult scenes, although it showed Jennifer naked. Noa allegedly had been contacted by adult sites that wanted to buy the footage. He planned to let it go with the highest bidding site.

According to what Noa revealed, Lopez had an insatiable appetite for intimacy at odd places. Lopez, however, took to the court to prevent her ex-husband from releasing the footage. She won the case and Noa did not get to publish the tape.

Although the couple broke up in 1998, Lopez hired Noa as her restaurant manager in 2002. Lopez had moved on and married Cris Judd, a dancer in 2001. She later fired her ex-husband after six months. Her marriage with Judd was no different from Noa’s, as they too called it quits the following year.

According to Judd, it was challenging to hold the marriage together under the spotlight. He added that although they had parted ways, there were no ill feelings between them.

After firing Noa from her restaurant, he sought to revenge the termination, arguing that she had no good reason to dismiss him, but they settled the case. Although Noa’s attempts to intimidate Lopez failed terribly in court, he at one time almost won the case where Jennifer sought to stop the release of a film about their marriage.

The court had initially granted the producer a go-ahead, although Jennifer’s attorneys managed to reverse the judgment in an appeal at the Second District Court of Appeals.
