Pratt has been embroiled in a controversy involving his son with his ex-wife Anna Faris, but the Hollywood star is shutting down all the naysayers.
Chriss Pratt Celebrates Son's Birthday With Hilarious Photo
On Wednesday, the "Guardians of the Galaxy" star took to Instagram to share an unusual photo of an adult sheep watching over a baby lamb in a dark barnyard. It’s unsure if the image symbolizes anything about his son or if Pratt doesn’t what to expose his son’s photo on the internet.
Regardless of the answer, the actor’s love for his son was deeply felt in the heartwarming accompanying caption. "Happy Birthday to my firstborn, my smart, handsome, kind hearted, big boy Jack! TEN!!?? WHAAAT!? Double digits!! he began his post.
Pratt continued, "Hard to believe it’s already been ten years!! You’re the best son, big brother, fisherman, scout, reader, mathematician, imagineer, builder, boxer, and buddy a guy could ask for. Love you kid! ♥️♥️."
Fans bombarded the post, wishing his son a happy birthday. One fan wrote, "Happy Birthday to the next great fisherman," while another added, "Happy birthday Jack attack! Seems like he’s really filled out.. pretty beefy these days."
One fan expressed concern about the choice of photo, noting, "Happy Birthday Jack!! Idk I feel ppl are gonna take this post out of context like they always do," while another user noted, "Happy birthday Jack!! It’s always a hard moment when they reach those double digits! When did they get so big?? Have fun celebrating today guys!"
The 'Passengers' Star was Once Blasted Because Of His Son
As stated earlier Pratt welcomed Jack during his 8-year-marriage to Faris that ended in 2018. The in-demand Hollywood star has found love again in the arms of Katherine Schwarzenegger and together they have two wonderful daughters, Lyla Maria and Eloise Christina.
Back in November, Pratt dedicated a tribute to his second wife which many fans mistook for a shade toward his ex-wife and first son. While celebrating Katharine’s big day, the 43-year-old appreciated his woman for giving him "an amazing life, a gorgeous healthy daughter."
Fans didn’t take the remark lightly suggesting he made it because Jack was born prematurely and faced some health issues in the earlier years of his life.
He was blasted on social media with fans showing support for Faris and branding him a bad father. Following the backlash, the "Parks and Recreation" star revealed he felt "crappy" in a cryptic post.
"Good morning everybody, I went to bed last night really kind of upset and depressed, and I woke up feeling crappy. I didn’t want to work out but I knew that if I put on my Christian music playlist and got out in the woods and ran that I’d feel better, he confessed in an Instagram Story clip.
However, it wasn’t until six months after the incident that the award-winning actor shared his thoughts on the controversy. In an interview with Men’s Health, Pratt got candid about the issue, admitting the backlash made him cry.
"That is f***ed up. My son’s gonna read that one day. He’s nine. And it’s etched in digital stone," he said. "It really f***ing bothered me, dude. I cried about it. I was like, I hate that these blessings in my life are—to the people close to me—a real burden."

He also touched on the rumors of him being a religious person and the misconceptions people on the internet have about him.
"Religion has been oppressive as f*** for a long time. I didn’t know that I would kind of become the face of religion when really I’m not a religious person," Pratt admitted. " I think there’s a distinction between being religious—adhering to the customs created by man, oftentimes appropriating the awe reserved for who I believe is a very real God—and using it to control people, to take money from people, to abuse children, to steal land, to justify hatred."
