'Love Is Blind' Stars Jarrette Jones and Iyanna McNeely 'Have Separated'

"Love Is Blind" stars Jarrette Jones and Iyanna McNeely found love on the Netflix reality dating show and exchanged an "I Do" after taking a trip down the aisle.

Over a year after filming wrapped, the couple was still together. In March, the couple even talked about having children together. Sadly, on Wednesday morning, Jarette and Iyanna posted a joint statement to their respective Instagram accounts to let fans know that they were calling it quits and going their separate ways.

The brief message began “What’s going on, family. After much thought, we’re saddened to share that we have separated and will begin the process of divorcing. While we have love for each other, our lives are going in different directions, and that’s okay. Coming to this decision was far from easy and we will always wish each other the absolute best.”

“We hope you all will give us some space as we close this chapter on our lives,” the statement continued. “Thank you to our close friends and family for loving us both through our experience. To the Love Is Blind family and Netflix, thank you for this unforgettable opportunity and support.”

“Each of you has brought overwhelming love and joy into our lives,” the statement concluded “This experience has taught us so much about ourselves, vulnerability, and love. We don’t regret a single thing!”

The official Love Is Blind Instagram account posted a photo of the two together along with a brief caption, "Jarrette and Iyanna - As you start the next chapters of your lives, thank you for opening your hearts to the Love is Blind experience and sharing your journey with all of us. ❤️."

This is the first time that a couple on the show will be going through a divorce. Two couples were married in the first season and two couples were married in the second season. Many had considered the two to be a fan-favorite couple and were shocked and disappointed to hear that they were separating.

Danielle Ruhl, who married Nick Thompson in season 2, commented with five red heart emojis.

“This has broken my heart! So sad,” Another fan wrote. “And this has ruined my faith in Love Is Blind. I probably won’t be watching anymore seasons ???.” Another follower commented, “? so sad. I loved them together, but I wish them the best.” A third fan said, “So heartbreaking ? I loved you guys together.”

“This is such an eye opener moment for me,” another fan commented. “all those perfect pictures but we had no clue what went behind those cameras...I hope we all learn that perfect Instagram feed doesn't mean perfect and happy life!”

“I was just thinking this. Like you would've never guessed based on all the trips, videos, and pics,” another follower replied. “This be why I focus more on my relationship than the anesthetic of it.”

On Monday, two days before their official divorce announcement, one user created a Reddit thread to ask if the couple was still together.

“Did they break-up?” user Disk_Unhappy asked. “Just noticing how they've stopped publicly communicating. They are currently at two different places partying and they don't have their wedding bands on. ?.”

A user named Aisoreal commented, “In the last week or so, Iyanna posted a story on IG about her having a girlfriends' sleepover at Natalie's. Just before that, she posted about if women have low standards, they'll just keep forgiving the actions of bad men (something along these lines). I didn't think much of it then, but in light of these speculations, this could've been a hint to her current status with Jarrette.”

Another user named curiousCAcat replied, “I heard he cheated and they’ve split, neither has been wearing their wedding rings lately. They haven’t been interacting on socials either (not liking each other’s posts etc).”

Tams585 agreed, adding, “I just noticed this also and saw in his most recent IG story he’s partying with his boys but his arm is around another woman and Iyanna has been spending a lot of time with her girlfriends.”

Although fans are disappointed in the news, they wish Jarette and Iyanna all the best.
