'Vanderpump Rules' Star Stassi Schroeder Suggests Kristen Doute Was 'Talking Sh*t' About Her Wedding

Stassi Schroeder appeared to take aim at her former friend Kristen Doute in a recent bridal column for Glamour magazine.

As the ladies' feud continues to play out on the currently airing episodes of season eight, Schroeder opened up about needing a break from someone amid her plans to marry fiancé Beau Clark and while she didn't mention anyone by name, Doute seems to be the inspiration behind at least a few of her statements.

"There’s been some drama around who I asked to be a bridesmaid…or rather, who I didn’t ask," Schroeder began.

"I found out that a few people were talking sh*t about it, so I was like, 'Okay, we need a break. I don’t want to see you for a really long time.' It was frustrating," Schroeder continued.

Schroeder may not have mentioned her former best friend in her column, but she's used the term "break" in reference to what's happening between her and Doute before.

"If taking a break from someone is a btch move and makes me nasty, then, I don't give a f*k," Schroeder said on her podcast in October.

Continuing on in her bridal column, Schroeder said that while she understands that the planning of a wedding can be annoying to those involved, she doesn't want to hear about someone talking badly about her behind her back.

"Do it properly—in the privacy of your own home, between you and one other person," Schroeder joked.

According to Schroeder, she should have never found out from "a lot of people" that someone in her life was complaining about her before adding that the person in question is now on the "maybe" list for her wedding.

News of a potential feud between Schroeder and Doute first broke at the end of July 2019 when Doute was noticeably absent during Schroeder and Clark's engagement celebration.

At the time, Schroeder's mother, Dayna, said she was hopeful that the ladies would ultimately make amends. However, several months later, that has yet to happen and judging by Schroeder's comment regarding Doute being on the "maybe" list for her wedding in Rome, they may not be anywhere close to a reconciliation.

After deciding on nine bridesmaids, Schroeder has been staying mum about which of her Vanderpump Rules co-stars will be included in her nuptials. That said, it seems quite likely that Schroeder's longtime best friend, Katie Maloney, will be a bridesmaid if she isn't given the Matron of Honor role in her ceremony.

As for the rest, Schroeder told Glamour magazine that her sister, as well as the sister of her soon-to-be-husband, Clark, will be taking two of the bridesmaid positions.

Despite Schroeder's falling out with Doute, she and Maloney have remained quite close to one another and earlier this month, in celebration of Maloney's 33rd birthday, the ladies traveled to Maloney's home state of Utah with their Vanderpump Rules co-stars, Lala Kent and Brittany Cartwright.

Schroeder made a point to make it on the trip even though she was scheduled to close on her new house in the Hollywood Hills during the time they were away.

Luckily, Schroeder was able to meet with someone in Utah to complete the documents on her home purchase.
