Prior to Chrishell Stause's action-packed year in 2021, she had become best known for her sunny personality on Netflix's smash-hit reality series "Selling Sunset."

Stause's positive and upbeat demeanor often serves as a buffer in between the many dramatic situations, (and, let's be honest, the more dramatic members of the office!), within the Oppenheim Group!

Last year, however, Stause's personal life began making lots of headlines.

From her surprise divorce from "This Is Us" actor Justin Hartley to her whirlwind romance and eventual split from Jason Oppenheim, to her bombshell romance with Australian non-binary musician G-Flip, the "Under Construction: Because Living My Best Life Took A Little Work" author was more than a little busy!

A Quick Refresher On Stause's Personal Life

The fifth season reunion of "Selling Sunset" contained enough scalding hot tea and gasp-worthy moments to go down as one of the biggest moments in the show's history!

The reunion marked the first time Stause and Oppenheim had publicly spoken about their relationship, which had then recently come to an end in the midst of fans witnessing their romance play out on "Selling Sunset."

Stause and Oppenheim had both teared up at various points while discussing the dissolution of their previously strong relationship.

According to The Blast's report covering the reunion, Oppenheim's hesitation to have children had been the straw that broke the camel's back for Stause; she had previously been extremely open about her desire to have children.

As if the awkward reunion, (The show's resident firecracker figure, Christine Quinn, had missed the taping due to having COVID), couldn't have been any juicer, Stause then revealed she had found love once again with G-Flip, a long-time drummer and independent artist.

Stause explained to her "Selling Sunset" co-stars and the special's host, "Queer Eye" star Tan France, "I recently have been spending a lot of time with someone that's very important to me. Their name is G-Flip. They're non-binary, so they go by they/them. And they're an extremely talented musician."

Inside Stause And G-Flip's Relationship

The pair had first met on Halloween night, and, as many "Selling Sunset" stans may remember, Stause and Oppenheim were still dating at the time.

G-Flip later spoke about the duo's first encounter and the connection they formed afterward.

They appeared on a People Magazine podcast earlier this year, revealing "We were both with our ex-partners then, and then we obviously separated from our partners, and we just started talking and stuff." (via The Blast)

The duo were also on the same page regarding the idea of eventually starting a family, which, as we know, is deeply important to Stause.

G-Flip discussed the possibility of parenthood in the aforementioned podcast episode as well.

"I definitely see children in my future," they said.

Privacy Please!

Love may be in the air for the couple and their relationship may have sprouted and flourished, but there is an important factor the duo must consider: The fact they are both public figures and the fact many are interested in their personal lives.

The couple's incredibly public lifestyle has been a bit difficult for the duo to navigate, a detail which G-Flip explained more in-depth with Entertainment Tonight per Us Weekly.

Getting used to the idea of their partner's extremely public job had been a process for the musician.

"I never thought of my life as being on a reality TV show. I think I want to stick to the music," G-Flip explained to Entertainment Tonight. They also went on to explain, "I don't want people to know me as a reality star, than, like, the musician, because my whole life I've been playing music..."

However, their desire for a little more privacy isn't a reflection on how they feel about their partner's job or co-workers!

G-Flip described the "Selling Sunset" crew as being "such rad, awesome human beings. They're so great. They're so fun."

The couple may hang around such a 'rad' crew, but that doesn't necessarily mean they want their outings,(or any other elements of their personal life), plastered all over newsfeeds for the whole world to see.

Us Weekly reported the couple is taking steps to reduce the amount of public insight into their relationship shared via social media.

A source told the publication, "They've been more low-key about their romance since there's been a lot of speculation about their relationship, so they want to keep it more private on social media."

Cheers to the happy couple ensuring their relationship is being given the proper care and space to thrive!
