A California court has found Britney Spears' ex-husband Jason Alexander guilty of Battery and Trespass after he broke into Spears' home on the day of her wedding to Sam Asghari. Alexander pled no contest to the charges against him, and the judge immediately found him guilty.
According to the press release by the District Attorney's office, the court issued a criminal protective order against Alexander on behalf of Spears and her security. He was also sentenced to 128 days in county jail.
However, Alexander will not spend any actual time behind bars because he already spent 64 days in county jail and was credited with that time and good behavior. His public defender has also claimed that Alexander only wanted to check on Spears, not hurt her.

Britney Spears Ex-Husband Pled No Contest
According to a press release from the Ventura County office (via Rolling Stone) of the California District Attorney's office, a court has found Alexander guilty of battery and aggravated trespass after he tried to disrupt Spear's wedding to Asghari in June.
The press release revealed that Alexander entered a plea of no contest to the charges. It further stated that the court had issued a criminal protective order against him, which prohibits him from coming within a hundred yards of Spears and Richard Eubeler, the security guard who accosted him.
Alexander also got sentenced to 128 days in county hail; however, he will not serve any actual time behind bars. He had previously spent 64 days in jail in Ventura County, which credited him with time. Alexander's "good behavior" during that time helped him get off easy.
Britney Spears And Jason Alexander Were Married Very Briefly
40-year-old Spears was only married to Alexander for a very brief time, barely 55 hours. They got married in January 2004, after getting drunk and eloping at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.
Since then, Alexander, Spears' childhood friend, has insisted on forcing himself into her life. His public defender, Sandra Bisignani, claimed to Judge Worley that "Mr. Alexander's intent was to talk to Britney, to check on her wellbeing, to make sure that this was what she really wanted, not to place her in fear."
The judge dismissed her arguments, stating that a trial was fitting for the charges. According to Rolling Stone, he said, "It's been established that he appears to be a continuing threat given the efforts he went through to insert himself into this event."
He Broke Into The Singers Home
On June 9th, police arrested Alexander on an outstanding warrant after he trespassed into Spears' home on the day of her wedding to Asghari. The moment he entered, Alexander live-streamed himself on his Instagram as he disrupted the decorators and party planners.

He greeted the workers, saying, "So, here's the inside scoop, guys, of the bull— wedding. Jason Alexander, what's up. My name's Jason Alexander. Britney invited me here. Britney Spears invited me here. She's my first wife, my only wife. I'm her first husband. I'm here to crash the wedding."
Spears' assistant, Vicky T, was alerted to Alexander's trespass by fans on Instagram and later provided an update on the situation. She assured fans Spears was safe and Alexander hadn't reached or hurt her.
A Judge Granted Britney Spears A Restraining Order
A few days after the arrest, Spears' attorney, Matthew Rosengart, revealed that a judge had granted Spears a restraining order against Alexander. He was subsequently detained at the county jail.
During a preliminary hearing on June 27th, Alexander was charged with misdemeanor counts of trespassing, vandalism, battery, a stalking felony, and refusal to leave private property. He pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
During the hearing, one of Spears' security guards, Eubeler, testified that Alexander had tried to break into the music star's bedroom but that the door was locked. According to Rolling Stone, he said, "He started reaching into his right pocket. I drew my weapon and held it to my chest."
