As it turns out, she actually did, because JLo not only commented on her Instagram post, but she created her own tweet to show her support for the "Overprotected" singer.

Britney and her ex-husband Kevin Federline have been making headlines ever since he alleged that Britney's boys want to keep their distance from her, in part due to her NSFW Instagram posts.
Although it looks like things are going to be handled a bit more privately from here on out, it didn't stop Britney from issuing her own Declaration of Independence in a video that she says she shot today.
Britney began: "In a world where you have the right to use your feet 🦶… heart ❤️ … mouth 👄 … eyes 👀 … and body… to express yourself however you may 😁 !!! Declaration of INDEPENDENCE … for equality and to be equal 🤝 !!! Not even touching, covering, and holding me against my will for 4 months !!!"
She continued: "As Jennifer Lopez once said, 'You look right down that camera and tell every little girl in the world to get loud and never ever back down to giving light to injustice ' ☺️ !!! I’m here to share that freedom is a state of mind !!! GOD BLESS U ALL❤️❤️❤️ Psss I shot this today !!!"
Fans were surprised to see that JLo actually replied to the post with "❤️❤️❤️ " before heading to Twitter to really show her support for Britney Spears.

Shortly after, JLo took to Twitter to share a throwback photo of the two singers together along with a screenshot of Britney's caption. She tagged Britney in the post and kept her three red heart emojis from her Instagram caption, but added the hashtag #StayStrong, followed by a flex emoji.
Fans showered the post with love, with some fans calling them "LEGENDS."

One fan commented, "great message and tribute for Britney, JLO! so amazing you encourage her and all women to be strong! dominating tweet!"
Other fans were begging for the two to collaborate together, especially because Britney is working on a "Tiny Dancer" remix with Sir Elton John called "Hold Me Closer" that Britney finally decided to open up about on Friday night.

In another Instagram post, Britney shared a piece of “Hold Me Closer” cover art that was created by a fan. The second slide is a picture of Selena Gomez. Even though she doesn’t mention her specifically in this post, Britney has praised her several times and thanked her profusely for coming to her wedding in June. Although the cover art is related to the song, Britney began her post seemingly talking about her conservatorship.
Britney wrote: “Conservative Diplomatic Voice … I had everything but broken inside !!!!! I never wanted to be the girls who show their bodies !!! BULL---- !!! Try being covered for 4 months with no keys !!! I have the right to express my body, mouth 👄 , eyes 👀 , heart ❤️, and feet 🦶🏻and show whatever I want !!!”

She continued: “My body was manipulated, abused, and torn by people not my friends !!! I have beautiful friends 😍 who give me joy and lift my a-- higher everyday 👯♀️ … if my shallow smile approach offends anyone which I only have learned to COPY !!! So sorry !!! Psss come on ICONS who we be fooling ????! Psss name of song is HOLD ME CLOSER 💃🏼 !!! Pssss OWN OWN OWN OWN !!!”
Britney concluded her post: “And thank you so much for this incredible art @monalisaney81… I appreciate this and all of your support it means so much to me !!! I can’t wait for you all to hear what we’ve been working on 😉😉😉😉.”
Fans showered the post with praise, calling her an "icon" and a "legend." Britney didn't give an exact date of when the song will drop, but fans have their fingers crossed that it's coming soon!
