McKayla Maroney Shows Off Her Fantastic Gymnastic Skills In New Tik Tok Vid

It's no surprise that Olympic gold medalist McKayla Maroney is great at handstands but she blew the competition out of the water for her version of the #handstandchallenge on Tik Tok.

The former gymnast made her triumphant return to social media after a two-year hiatus back in September of 2019 but the star has now started ~~flipping out~~ handstanding out over the newest short-form video platform. Maroney looked fantastic as she set up the camera and performed the impressive feat in a tiny white sports bra and hip-hugging athletic pants that featured racing stripes down the legs. While she was inverted, she gave her booty a little wiggle which made sure her vid was in sync with other #handstandchallenge videos.

McKayla only has one video on the new social platform but she is already making a big impact. The handstand quickly racked up thousands of views and her followers have started skyrocketing.

"yo you were on the Olympics," one excited fan exclaimed in the comments of her Tik Tok. Another fan said, "my fav TikTok rn lol."

She promoted her video on her Instagram story. Many of her millions of IG followers quickly downloaded the Tik Tok app to follower her there as well.

"I've never looked up a tik tok username so fast," a devoted fan said.

Maroney reactivated her Instagram after going dark on September 2, 2017. She looked happy as she posted her first pics where she admitted her friend "forced me to get back on instagram." Since making her triumphant return, she has been showing off all of her cute outfits and sharing tons of selfies. The 24-year-old seems to really be enjoying her time since taking such a long break out of the public eye.

The star may have retired from the sport of gymnastics but she has been getting into music. She teased fans with a short video on her IG story that showed her getting ready to record in her makeshift home studio. McKayla joked on her social media bio that her account will be better when she finally puts out the songs she has been working on.

"used to be a gymnast. now i make music, but still have nothing out yet. when i do, i'll have a better bio," her profile states on Instagram.
