Since the announcement of Anne Heche's death earlier today, August 12, 2022, at the age of 53, there has been an outpouring of love from families and friends.

As you may know, Heche was involved in a ghastly car accident days ago that led to a fire outbreak, leaving her severely burned and in a coma. After seven days of being in critical condition, the "13 Minutes" star was allegedly removed from life support and finally pronounced dead.

The "Six Nights, Seven Days" star's career as an actress has spanned over three decades since her breakout role in the 1987 soap opera "Another World," where she acted as twins. She went on to star in several hit movies and got nominated for several awards, including Daytime Emmy Awards and GLAAD Media Awards, to name a few.

Tributes Flow In For Anne Heche Upon News Of Her Death

The "Hour of Lead" star's best friend Nancy Davis, who first broke the news of her death, led the tribute to the actress. Davis shared several photos of Heche and herself at different events and some with friends. She gave a lengthy and touching tribute in the caption that partly read:

Heaven has a new Angel . My loving , kind , fun , endearing and beautiful friend @anneheche went to heaven. I will miss her terribly and cherish all the beautiful memories we have shared.”

The sweet message continued, "Anne was always the kindest, most thoughtful person who always brought out the best in me. She was so supportive with anything she could do to help @racetoerasems and would always say yes when she knew she could contribute something with her time, talent and creative genius to help find a cure for MS . My heart is broken."

Davis ended her caption with [three broken heart emojis], two hashtags, #heavenhasanewangel#heavenhasanotherangel, and [an angel emoji].

One of Heche's exes, James Tupper, who met her on the set of her ABC Show "Men In Trees," also shared a heart-melting tribute to the late actress on his Instagram page. Sharing a blurry photo of the actress that looked like a scene from a movie, Tupper simply wrote in the caption, "love you forever," followed by [one broken heart emoji].

Another of the late star's ex Ellen DeGeneres had some sweet words to say. The famous comedian who dated the "Wild Card" actress in the 90s until their breakup was made public in the year 2000 took to Twitter to write, "This is a sad day. I'm sending Anne's children, family and friends all of my love."

Ellen had initially shared her support and prayers for the late star while she was still hospitalized right after opening up that they were no longer in contact with each other.

American filmmaker James Gunn took to his Twitter to write, "Honest to God, I think maybe the best acting performance I’ve ever seen in my life was Anne Heche in PROOF on Broadway. #RIP."

"The Best Of Enemies" Star Was Loved By Many

Star actress Rosanna Arquette kept her tribute short on Twitter and it read, "Rest In Peace now Anne." In another precise tribute, "OZ" star Kirk Acevedo wrote on Twitter, "My heart goes out to Anne Heche’s children. No child should lose their mother at such a young age."

Actor Ed Helms described Heche's death as heartbreaking. In his words, "Anne Heche news today is so heartbreaking. A truly epic, vibrant spirit and a profound talent. Sending tremendous love and support to her family." Actress Laura Wright shared a photo of Heche from her soap opera days and wrote, "RIP - so tragic and heartbreaking [heartbreak emoji] @AnneHeche #daytime"

"Sandman" actress Dedee Pfeiffer also had a few words for the late actress. Pfeiffer wrote, "My heart breaks for Anne Heche and for all involved in this tragic story. Addiction is extremely complicated and layered. This is such a sad day and yet not an unfamiliar day for many who have known or loved somebody with an addiction..."

"The Bay" actor Stephen Kunken fondly remembered his encounter with the "Volcano" star whom he described as a"truly decent human." He shared a photo of them together and wrote a caption that read, "Some years ago I was Anne Heche’s quirky suitor in PROOF on Broadway. She was as kooky and utterly fabulous as I could have ever dreamed. An immense talent I loved playing opposite & more importantly a truly decent human and friend. The news is just unendingly sad."

Anne Celeste Heche is survived by her two children, her siblings, and her mother. may her soul rest in peace!
