He secretly fathered a baby boy, Theo, with fitness influencer Maralee Nichols. The Chicago Bulls player initially denied that he fathered a child with Nichols, but after a paternity test proved him VERY WRONG, he issued multiple public apologies.

In a series of Instagram stories posted on January 3, Thompson owned up to everything.

“Today, paternity test results revealed that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols. I take full responsibility for my actions.  Now that paternity has been established, I look forward to amicably raising our son,” he wrote. “I sincerely apologize to everyone I’ve hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately.”

Tristan then issued an apology to Khloe, because they were in an exclusive relationship when he stepped out on her with Nichols.

“Khloe, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you,” his statement read. “I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry.”

The reality TV star and NBA player began their surrogacy journey with their second child in November right before Nichols gave birth and exposed him for impregnating her.

A rep for Khloe released a statement in July confirming the baby news.

“We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November. Khloé is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We'd like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family."
