Singer Britney Spears and her ex-husband Kevin Federline have been generating headlines again due to their latest drama.

After K-Fed alleged that her two teenage sons didn't want to see her due to her NSFW Instagram posts, Britney fired back on Wednesday night recalling the last conversation she had with her boys.

After leaving some harsh words for her ex-husband, Kevin fired back by posting three videos that he claims the boys took when they were 11 and 12. The videos were clearly embarrassing for Britney and now her lawyer is firing back.

In a lengthy statement issued to TMZ, Britney’s attorney, Mathew Rosengart, slammed Kevin Federline for sharing the photos of Britney online without her permission and insinuated that they might even pursue legal action against him.

In the statement, Rosengart writes, “Britney Spears is a brilliantly-talented, extremely-hardworking icon, who is rightfully beloved and respected by millions around the world. The same, unfortunately, cannot be said about Mr. Federline, who for reasons that are inexplicable, decided to give a gratuitous interview that has hurt the mother of his children.”

Rosengart is talking about the Daily Mail interview that was published last week, in which Kevin said the kids were purposely distancing themselves from Britney.

“Britney has faithfully supported her children she loves them dearly,” Rosengart continued. “Whether he realizes it or not, Mr. Federline has not only violated the privacy and dignity of the mother of his children, he has undermined his own children, whose privacy he should protect. Putting aside his ITV interview, Mr. Federline’s ill-advised decision to post an old video of his 11 and 12 year old children was cruel, bottom of the barrel stuff. It was abhorrent.”

In his lengthy statement, Rosengart insinuated that they might be taking legal action against K-Fed for posting the videos, writing, “In addition to demeaning himself and violating societal norms, he has now also created various legal issues for himself including, but not limited to, implicating cyber-harassment and cyber-bullying statues, among other things.”

“It has been my honor to work with Britney, to suspend her father as conservator, to help her gain her freedom and dignity, and to help protect her from the type of bullying she endured in the past – and we will not tolerate bullying from any area.”

“We are working with Instagram to ensure that Mr. Federline adheres to its rules and we are exploring all appropriate relief against him. In the meantime, as Britney herself poignantly said, whatever is occurring between her and her boys should remain private,” he concluded. “We urge Mr. Federline to act with a measure of grace and decency and to cease from publicly discussing private matters, which benefits no one.”

After the videos were posted online, people quickly took to Britney's latest Instagram post to share their support for the "Overprotected" singer. "The videos he posted sounds like many moms trying to reason with preteens," one fan wrote. "Not a big deal. Kfed is teaching them to be disrespectful."

"Saw the Kfed video. So what is it that she even did that was so bad. Tell her boys what to do?" one fan asked. "Sounds like they did their fair share of talking back to her. My guess is Kfed spoils them at home…with her money."

Another fan agreed, adding, "her boys were wrong to record her and bring it back to the EX. Shows the Ex has poisoned the boys with his hate." Another fan added, "Please don’t let what Kevin just posted hurt you and have you react. Just don’t! We love you. He’s trying to bring you down and it’s getting ugly."

It looks like their respective attorneys have stepped in so things won't get any uglier, but the videos that Kevin Federline posted to Instagram have now been taken down. Britney's original Instagram post talking about her last "harsh" encounter with her sons was taken down, but what she said can still be read here.
