Britney Spears Goes Horseback Riding, Fans Think It's the Most 'Authentic' She's Been in Months

Britney Spears got out for one of her favorite activities and in the midst of questions about who is running her social media accounts, fans think the latest update is definitely coming from the Princess of Pop. Britney shared about her day with fans on Saturday evening, as she had been on a horseback ride near her home with her boyfriend Sam Asghari.

"Prince @samasghari ? & The Southern Star," Britney captioned a photo of the two atop their steeds.

The 38-year-old pop star wore a loose-fitting shirt that showed off her shoulders along with a pair of khaki shorts and brown cowboy boots. She also wore a choker and some sunnies.

Asghari also dressed the part for a day of horsing around and was wearing a form-fitting Ralph Lauren Polo t-shirt along with a cowboy hat.

He also posted about the day and wrote, "Giddy up with my cowgirl," on Instagram along with a smiling photo of the two. Asghari also shared some video on his Instagram Stories while following Britney along the horse trail.

Over the last many months, Britney has been constantly criticized by fans and followers over the legitimacy of her social media posts. Many have argued that Britney's team has been using her social media to show people how much she's spiraled out of control amid the drama surrounding her conservatorship.

However, the most recent post seemed to put fans at ease, as they thought the star was showcasing a very real moment.

"Hold up- this is the most authentic post weve had since last year," one fan commented on the post.

Although many fans have been clamoring about Britney's conservatorship, and some have even joined the #FreeBritney movement, there have not been many celebrities weighing in on the situation. However, Cher recently jumped into the conversation and voiced her opinion about the control surround Britney's life.

Taking to Twitter, Cher retweeted a local article detailing the efforts of the #FreeBritney movement and added a personal message:

"JUST ENOUGH MEDS TO KEEP HER WORKING,BUT NOT ENOUGH TO HAVE A LIFE."

Fans were definitely excited to see Cher address the topic and thanked her for giving more awareness to #FreeBritney.
