Kevin Federline Wants Britney Spears' Dad Jamie 'Back In The Boys' Lives'

Singer Britney Spears has been at odds with her father, Jamie Spears, for a while.

Despite alleged abuse, Kevin Federline has recently said that he would "absolutely" let Jamie back into the lives of his two teenage sons in a new bombshell interview with the Daily Mail.

Britney and K-Fed were married from 2004 to 2007 and had two sons: Jayden James and Sean Preston. In a recent interview with the Daily Mail, Kevin not only had high praise for his former father-in-law but also claimed Britney's controversial conservatorship "saved her life."

Although the legal drama between Britney Spears and her father, Jamie Spears, is still ongoing, Kevin Federline seemed more than willing to let her father back in the lives of their two teenage sons.

A few years ago, Kevin actually had his own drama with Jamie after claims surfaced that Jamie had gotten into a physical altercation with one of the boys. K-Fed had been granted a restraining order against Jamie, but with that document set to expire, it looks like Kevin is trying to turn the other cheek.

"I would absolutely welcome Jamie Spears back in the boys' lives," Kevin said. "Especially if that's what the boys wanted. I don't have any hard feelings towards Jamie Spears. People make mistakes. I feel bad for him. I feel like he's been put through the wringer."

He said that invitation also extends to Britney's mother, Lynne Spears, who his sons know as "memaw," Britney's brother Bryan Spears, and Britney's sister, Jamie Lynn Spears.

"Family is supposed to stick together, and just because they're not my immediate family, you know, they're my sons', my kids' immediate family," Kevin said. "They love their memaw. My priority has always been: it is about what is good for the boys."

In a recent Instagram post, Lynne seemed to try to make amends with her daughter after Britney accused her mother of not supporting her during the conservatorship. “Britney, I have all the ‘whole conversations’ as well!" Lynne wrote. "I hurt for you that you feel the people who love you the most betrayed you! Let me come to you! I love you!”

Britney called out her mom, but it's pretty clear that she doesn't want anything to do with her family and didn't even invite them to her wedding to Iranian actor Sam Asghari in June. Although she reportedly moved into the same neighborhood as K-Fed after the wedding to be closer to her sons, it seems that Britney and K-Fed might not be on good terms when he said that the conservatorship "saved her life."

Britney Spears has not been shy about alleging that she suffered horrible abuse throughout her 13-year conservatorship. However, in his recent interview with the Daily Mail, Kevin Federline claimed that Jamie Spears actually "saved her life" with the conservatorship.

Kevin said he did have questions about why it lasted as long as it did, but he did show his support for Jamie Spears, saying, "I saw this man that really cared, and really cares about his family and wanting everything to be OK," adding, "When Jamie took over, things got into order. He saved her life."

However, he did note that the conservatorship was difficult to explain to her two sons, who were still very young at the time. "They've had a lot of questions about it," he explained. "I don't know that I can answer all of them for them but I just tried to explain to them that your mom needed help, you know, and the people were in play to try to make that happen, to make it better."

During the interview, Kevin also said that Britney and her boys seem to have had a falling out, in part due to her NSFW social media posts. He told the publication, "The boys have decided they are not seeing her right now," adding, "It's been a few months since they've seen her. They made the decision not to go to her wedding."
