Finding an 'alternative' path to one's ultimate success story to happiness has been a reoccurring scenario among Bachelor Nation alumni lately, and the practice seems to work wonders!

The 'Bachelor' franchise has helped countless couples find true love for two decades while also providing a path for contestants to find a second chance at finding 'the one' in whichever way works best; from past season favorites having the chance to be the lead of a season of "The Bachelor" or "The Bachelorette," to another opportunity for potential love stories to unfold on a luxurious beach via "Bachelor In Paradise," second chances have never looked so plentiful!

Love Takes Time: Inside Some Of Bachelor Nation's Non-Traditional Love And Success Stories

Bachelor Nation has had many recent examples of its past famous figures finding some form of love after experiencing heart-shattering public break-ups!

From experiencing significant matrimony milestones outside of Bachelor Nation to past leads getting to know themselves after a broken engagement, there have been many different ways in which formerly heartbroken leads and contestants have been given an opportunity to rewrite their narrative.

Most recently, Madison Prewett, who had been a front-runner contestant on Peter Weber's season of "The Bachelor", celebrated her engagement to her beau of nearly a year! She wrote to her new fiancé in the caption of their beachside engagement photos on Instagram, "You were worth the wait."

Sometimes renewing one's relationship with themselves is exactly what is needed after heartbreak.

"The Bachelorette" alumna Katie Thurston recently began the personal journey of picking up the pieces after two highly-publicized break-ups within the last year. She and her frontrunner pick, Blake Moynes, had been engaged for only two months when the pair made the decision to call it quits, citing the realization they weren't as compatible in the 'real world' as they previously thought.

Thurston began a relationship with John Hersey, a contestant from her season of "The Bachelorette," but the couple, who had previously been friends before they began dating, parted ways earlier this summer.

Flying Solo Is Good For The Soul!

Unfortunately, 2021's second 'Bachelorette' recently began flying solo after ending her engagement with her season's frontrunner.

Michelle Young was set to tie the knot with Nayte Olukoya, but the pair found themselves needing to go in different directions.

The 29-year-old former teacher and current "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast co-host has remained largely mum about the specifics of her break-up, but she has been willing enough to reveal the ending of their engagement took her by surprise.

"I will say this is not something I foresaw, and I'll leave it there," she explained, during her interview on the "Ben and Ashley I. Almost Famous" podcast earlier this summer.

An unforeseen life event can end up affecting someone for all of the right reasons, as Young seems to be finding out these days!

Young is slowly but surely re-introducing herself to Bachelor Nation and beyond as a self-loving single gal! Her most recent Instagram photo set features Young standing alone on a street corner looking confidently off into the distance. People also reported she had soundtracked the trio of photos with "Good Vibes" by Ayah The Light.

Olukoya is also enjoying his newfound single life as well!

The 28-year-old frequently documents his fun and friendship-filled outings on social media as well. Olukoya is now roommates with a fellow former suitor of Young's, Rodney Mathews.

As for finding a new woman, Olukoya isn't trying to rush the process at all. He is "single and happy that way," according to a close unidentified source. (via The Blast)
