It seems there won't be a third time for Ne-Yo and Crystal Smith's love story to be rekindled.
Days after Crystal called out the "Miss Independent" singer for cheating throughout their 8 years of relationship, she has taken things to a new level.
Crystal Smith Files For Divorce From Ne-Yo
Per TMZ, earlier this week, Crystal filed for divorce at a court in Atlanta. The social media personality cited irreconcilable differences, noting that her marriage to the entertainer is "irretrievably broken with no hope for reconciliation."
In the court document, she alleged that asides from the three children — Shaffer, 6, Roman, 4, and Isabella, 1 — she and Ne-Yo welcomed together, the "So Sick" had another child from an extramarital affair with his "paramour."
Crystal didn’t give more details about the alleged child but she listed July 22, 2022, as their official date of separation, noting that she has been taking care of their three kids alone since then.
The CEO of NudeLuxeRx is seeking primary physical custody of the kids and joint legal custody. Crystal is also demanding alimony and child support from Ne-Yo.
This is Crystal’s second attempt at divorcing the award-winning songwriter. Ne-Yo is yet to respond to the filing and publicly comment on it.
Crystal Slammed Ne-Yo For Being A ‘Narcissist' & Cheater
The not-so-shocking divorce filing comes days after Crystal aired their dirty laundry and called out Ne-Yo for not treating her right throughout their relationship.

As The Blast reported, the 31-year-old in a heated Instagram post lashed out, writing, "8 Years of lies and deception. 8 years of unknowingly sharing my life and husband with numerous women who sell their bodies to him unprotected… every last one of them."
She continued, "To say I’m heartbroken and disgusted is a [sic] understatement. To ask me to stay and accept it is absolutely insane. The mentality of a narcissist. I will no longer lie to the public or pretend that this is something it isn’t."
Crystal, whose maiden name is Renay, explained to fans that chose happiness and respect. She noted that aside from the three wonderful kids she got from the marriage, her relationship with the singer was "nothing else but wasted years and heartache."
She declared that she was choosing to walk away with her head high.
Following her outburst, Ne-Yo took to Twitter to give a response to her allegations, writing, "For the sake of our children, my family and I will work through our challenges behind closed doors. Personal matters are not meant to be addressed and dissected in public forums. I simply ask that you please respect me and my family’s privacy at this time."
The Estranged Couple Recently Renewed Their Vows
Crystal’s outburst was surprising for fans as just months ago, she and Ne-Yo reconciled after a halted attempt to divorce in 2020.
The pair went their separate ways briefly before reconciling a few months later and celebrating their new love with a lavish wedding party in Las Vegas.
We reported about the elaborate ceremony held on the rooftop at Resorts World in Vegas that featured several A-listers and extravagant gestures.
It is unsure what the divorce proceeding would look like if Crystal and Ne-Yo go through with it, but fans have since been bashing the Grammy winner for having a history of infidelity in his relationship.
Before Crystal, Ne-Yo was in a relationship with actress Monyetta Shaw and they welcomed two kids. He reportedly asked her to get her tubes tied under the premise that they were done having children.
He also promised to have a vasectomy. However, to Shaw’s surprise, Ne-Yo broke up with her and subsequently announced that he was in a relationship with Crystal.
