On Thursday, while performing in Toronto at All-Canadian North Stars event Drake brought out the iconic Nelly Furtado. The reclusive singer has been away from the spotlight and hadn't performed in almost five years.

Well, Drake broke her hiatus, making Furtado perform two of her hit songs, "Promiscuous" and "I’m Like a Bird." Before bringing the singer up on stage, the "Hotline Bling" hitmaker gushed about her impact on his life.

He said while introducing his fellow Canadian, "Thank goodness I’m a nice, humble, well-spoken [person], I like to deal with people the right way, because that’s the only way that you could get this next person to come out of the house to do what they’re about to do right now."

He continued, "I don’t care how loud you sang tonight, right now, I need you to sing as loud as you can because this right here took a lot… This next person’s changed my life so much, I love her so much."

The pair's close bond and chemistry were evident as they danced around and performed electrically on stage.
